A song with the main vocal line present is NOT karaoke. Running the lyrics during the song just makes it a song with lyrics shown realtime. Which is a good thing by itself, but it's just not karaoke. Karaoke is where the main vocals have been REMOVED so you can "take the place" of the singer on a stage and do your own performance. It's also a cool way to practise singing different styles.
