  • Love this song. Makes you feel focused and ready to face anything head-on. Anthem for life in general. Either you let things break you ... or you let them make you. I say hit me with your best shot ! I am not falling !

    - "We've got the right to be angry".

  • Love thissong from Pat ..one of her best song !

  • If Pat Benatar would ever be willing to do this song again I'd love to have it as part of the soundtrack to any sci-fi or fantasy story of mine turned movie or T.V. series. This song kicks serious butt.

  • @Animeman73 She sings it every show. She's still touring; she still sings it bad ass and hits all those high notes at the end. I'm going to see her April 12th and April 14th here in Ft Worth @ Billy Bobs. You should go see her while she is still performing.

  • @ivegottaheadache thanks for the info. Unfortunately I've not seen her coming to Portland, Oregon anytime in the near future. Also because I'm legally blind...well seeing her at a show would be...kind of a problem. But again thanks for the information I appreicate it.

  • To keep your Blood hot you sometimes have to stop running and face them head-on Strong because either way, it's A Do or Die situation!!!!

  • to bad pat benatar didnt like the movie because its actually pretty good.

  • I still love this song. I first heard it in the movie the legend of billyjean. I'm off to amoeba musik in Hollywood to buy this film and the soundtrack. It's been a long time pat B. hopefully we will meet again someday

  • Now that's ROYAL badness. All hail the queen!

  • Top of her game.

  • Pat is a real American singer. The others (Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Britney Spears, Selena Gomes, Justin Bieber and many more...) are really so fake. I love 80's! And i'm a 14 years old girl.

  • My little sister was pat for the 80's dance at her school....lol

  • What the hell happened to American women?

They were once invincible, but now they are fat, stupid and sloppy. No class, no style, foul mouthed and covered in stupid tattoos.

  • too bad she softened up in the later 80's

blame it on that shitty gay ass newave

  • 30 years later I still want to bang Putter!! hahaha...agreed?

  • this is the song where she finally got rid of the in your face "ill tell you off" 13 year old girl tough girl antics.

behind the music with pat benetar was updated in 2011 on classic vh1. it is much better. i think this is the album neal geraldo currently says he did not like but he seem to have finally got rid of his greaser, mafia- idolizing crap in this video.

  • LOVE Pat! LOVE this song! LOVE the movie!

  • funny,i saw pat a few yrs ago in Charlotte,n.c. and she said "this next song is a great song.. from a terrible movie" "but its a song about standing up for what you believe in, and fighting for what is right at all cost" she sounded every bit as good then as she did in 84..man i love her!

  • @lovethe80sguy

the movie is good. a great movie for young people at the time without idiotic screaming for no reason. it is very hard for me to watch movies but i watched this one.

  • Great song!

  • sing your heart out pat!!!!!!!!!!!!! great song!

  • i alway's liked pat benetar's style u go girl.

  • I AGREE VOGUE0843

  • There is only one way to solve this problem.

    You bann immigrants from voting.

  • This song beats Material Girl by Madonna in American Music Award in 1985, for best female rock song. Well, justifiable, because Material only for dance floor not a type of rock and roll.

  • anybody can explain me why the stupid and the whore, talentless madonna how she became famous with stupid songs like "hornyday","like a bitch"...etc...

  • Cool song, but I prefer the cover version by Sinergy.

  • Great song and great movie!

  • The 80's is Invincible and that's the bottom line!!

  • Great song,thanks!!!

  • another great hit!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love this movie! and the song

  • @Ch3rryphr34k me 2!!!!!!!!

  • This could be the Ron Paul supporters theme song! Go Ron Paul - 2012!

  • great woman&voice

    5*****

  • @BreedsColbys you know what is sad about the movie is that these kids were abused by an adult, and as most movies in USA, only when they admit wrong doing themselves do the people believe the victims. very sad that people can not see evil and protect the innocent. and as the song says, it is a do or die situation. either way if you give in to evil, you are dead.

  • @BreedsColbys IQ over 500 & psychic ability. not afraid to fight for the truth & the criminals in power who defile the world with their pedophilia, pollution, bio weapons & wars.

  • @BreedsColbys ignorant people & crazies are enemy of the state. warlords & drug lords are enemy of the state. those who profit from spreading disease & putting people in jai for minor offenses while children murdering pedophiles run the government of puppets. you make claims that you know nothing about. you are a sad case of a disinformation agent. check your local statistics; they are hard numbers that don't lie. as well as more than 200,000 children every year disappear in USA alone.

  • @BreedsColbys It costs $55,000 per year per person in prison or jail. most are privately owned jails or government workers that get paid & cause larger government beurocracy that dictates instead of serves. rehab programs another 55,000 per year or more. again private interests profit while tax payers & drug users lose. creates more work for the judges, police & local drug pushers. excuse to take children away & foster homes another large expense paid by tax payers. drug companies make billions.

  • @BreedsColbys Too intelligent & could expose all the corruption of USA government & organized international terrorists AKA socialist nationalists (nazis) and communist soclialists and plain socialists as in USA. Here three examples; they grow the drugs, they addict people, they profit from the sales & they jail people for using the drugs. Second; They create hard to fight disease, then sell temporary medicines. Third they use tax money to invent new tech & weapons start wars & trade weapons.

  • The Queen of Rock and Roll!!! Rock on Pat!!

  • @BreedsColbys yes arab countries &communist countries outright corrupt. USA shows face. corrupt & keeps it all in hiding while activists drop dead left & right. While USA recruites, trains & finances terrorists all around the world to kill off whom ever they do not like. like my 19 year old mother. you will never get it. too many yours of brain washing propaganda movies & deceitful ideologies of freedom & justice when there is none. USA is run by child murdering pedophile war lords & drug lords.

  • Fair is fair~!

  • thumbs up - from one Billie 2 another. (damn right, "Fair is Fair!" lol)

  • Kiitoksia kun et lähtenyt oopperaa laulaan! Olen saanut nauttia sun äänestä yli 25v.

  • The greatest gift Pat Benatar gave us,besides her music....Was going from singing opera to singing rock and roll.

  • FAIR IS FAIR!!! One of my favorite movies!

  • The song should be the Anthem of the 99%. Occupy the planet!

  • @fugitivesoulanon 1% always ruled over us & they are from Persian decent. Jesus called them synagogue of Satan, these are the Pharasees. The follow evil babylonian religion that allows pedophilia & beastiality etc. They changes the bible & wrote the Talmud. Look up videos about it. Exposes a lot. USA runs the world's child sex trade industry & war profiteering, drugs & oil trade. We are slaves in this empire of lies. When a rabbi objected to changing of Torah, he was executed; called Zaken Mamre.

  • @smokesignal216 Good info to spread around, but you don't have to preach it to me. People should also know that Libya had nothing to do with helping the people and everything to do with our banks waging war on that country because Gaddaffi wanted out of the global banking scam and wanted to create a United African Monetary system based on Gold, instead of being trapped in our Western fiat system. They killed him for gold, and our government fabricated that entire story about genocide.

  • @fugitivesoulanon most people don't know anything except what is on television. as the genocide on Timor. They wanted to be independent & they got destroyed by the world government who are satanists child murdering pedophiles and they do not follow christian laws.

  • I love Pat's voice and her hair.

  • Thumbs up if this song totally fits the movie, "The Legend Of Billie Jean!"

    FAIR IS FAIR!!!

  • My uncle got to see her in concert in eureka before he died. He said it was the greatest birthday present. Im glad he got somethibg special on his last bday. Rest in peace uncle.

  • ''Fair is Fair''

  • The taste of revolution was still in the air.

  • I love this song! 80's Rock!!!! yeahhh!!!!!

  • Christ did I ever want to bang Helen Slater.

    /and she's still hot

  • "Legend of Billie Jean" = Classic BRING IT BACK.........

  • what we running for

  • Love this song & Movie...

  • Fair is Fair!!!!

  • "...and with the POWER of conviction there is no sacrifice!" Rock on Pat!

  • she looks so pretty.

  • 4 people r idiots AUSTRALIA LOVES YOU PAT ROCK ON 4EVER

  • Thumbs up if you 1st heard this in 1985 (or later!) as the theme song to the classic 80's movie "Legend of Billie Jean"!!! XD

  • @TakeMeBackTo1986 we had this on a "lazer disk juke box player" in the "Circus Circus" arcade in Las Vegas. Fun!

  • yeah thats how i know this song.

  • I love this song!

  • Ah the 80's - when the drummer stood up, his sleeves cut off, I got flashbacks. Could have been all the coke and acid from back then

  • Pat Benatar is the perfect example of musical talent, these silly half naked Bimbo's you see on videos today can't even think to be on the same level of People like Pat.

  • @Vogue0843 I'm 53 years old and I'll tell you what. Very few women can sing in a hard rock band with this much power and passion. And I do mean power! Her ability to hit the high notes over the rock music is amazing. The only other female rock singer worthy of mention is Amy Lee of Evanescence, but Pat still rocks in my book as my all-time favorite female artist.

  • @roy2ohio

Pat was originally classically trained in opera and theater. That's why she's got a real voice.

  • @Vogue0843

    amen vogue. amen.

  • roll over and die lady gaga, pat beats u any day !!!

  • The Legend of Billie Jean

  • great 80s rock song, loved the 80s, miss them too..thanks for posting this

  • Pat's an original. No one can duplicate her, not her voice, not her moves, nor her music. This woman had rhythm too. Her facial features are beautiful. She is a strong woman and didn't let fame go to her head. Her family was first, and when it was time to slow down, she did. Got to her KUDOS.

  • so true, wish we could see her more!! Love her!!

  • Real rock will always be inside us true believers!!!!

  • I saw Pat's band with Neil Giraldo, Sat. July 23rd in Indiana. I was amazed when after the third song, Neil stepped up to the mic, did the Hitler salute and said " sieg heil". not everyone heard it. When he did it I looked at the audience behind me, (I was in front). Some in the audience did the salute and said sieg heil back. This led to Neil chuckling and saying "Its great to be back in the Midwest.

    TRUE - I have video

  • @steltch yeah, it means "hail victory." Was there anything else added to it? I mean do you know why he was hailing victory? You said he did a Nazi salute, which then means "we will win" or something like that. Who know what that was about. You should post the video.

  • God this takes me back to highschool in the 80's they don't play music like they used to

  • @jason75 songs back then had more feeling and meaning and inspiration... wasn't about making a quick buck with jibberish and superficial trash... i miss music like this also.....

  • @Shuqi78 Yep agreed, today is crap, like this rap shit or this pop bull, today its about the money and the spotlight, back then it was about the talent and instruments, I wonder why im stil stuck in the past, 50's through the 80's is the best era for anything, anyways keep on rocking

  • Just a little curve ball here. I love Tori Amos angelic voice. But Pat Benatar is a true rocker. #1 on my list of female singers. No one comes close to her.

  • FAIR IS FAIR!

  • She is cute for my part ^^

  • I love Pat Benatar.

  • @jjpeterson1 100? You could leave out the zeroes there and still be accurate. ;)

KIDDING! I'd put Benatar behind Janet Jackson, Paula Abdul, Taylor Dane, and Tina Turner, in that order.

  • Is Pat Benatar Jewish? Not trying to start anything; I'm just honestly curious here.

  • @RebelKnightCSA I read she is christian of Czech descent.

  • @dimpleseve No I was very wrong....her dad is polish her mom is irish it was Mr Benatar the man she married and who's last name she kept that was of Czech descent!!! sorry about that!

  • *****Salute:):):)***:):):)

  • Great Female Rocker !

  • why do people worry about the ga ga's of the music industry, they know damn good and well that ain't got nothing on the past. I WOULD BITCH SLAP LADY GOO GOO.WHITE TRASH.

  • very well, probably the best music video ever done, and that is good because this is the best song ever

Muy bien, quizá el mejor video musical que se ha hecho, y eso está bien, porque está es la mjor canción de todos los tiempos

  • Back in the 80s this song was at my top 5. Viewing again to this video I can say that I was right.

    It´s still a top.

  • Ahh, the good ol' 80's. Soundtrack to my life.

  • great music! shes my favorite!

  • I remember this movie! I loved the song as a little girl. Now, as an adult, I understand - and empathize - with the movie much more.

  • Fuckemos digs Benatar

  • Dear Lady Gag Gag:

This is what a kick-ass woman in music looks like.

    Love,

    The World

  • This song makes me think of a large group of people going up against an even lager tyrannical government. The group of people come to the conclusion that they cannot and will not sit down and fade quietly into the night....they can't afford to. You can run but you can't hide when there is no where you can run to anymore. Convince more people to help you and then stand up and face the enemy. Together you can prevail. After all there is more of us than them.

  • Queen of Rock!

  • adore pat benatar and this song!

  • The legend of Billie Jean<3

  • This is like the ultimate "Retribution" song.

  • Is it me or did the 80s movies have awesome soundtracks, have most of them exept billie jean, fair is fair

  • Ahh the eighties....when MEN got tatoos and WOMEN wore pants that showed their undies. Those were the good old days.

  • @dave4248 Shut up, idiot!

  • 4 people aren't invicible

  • I wish they would have just focused on the band instead of that dumb movie.

  • Look into her eyes she's fierce. This is a badass song.

  • The chorus doesn't get out of your head.... :) So good.

  • people gave her shit for this song cause it was for a movie the song is great and is used in alot in tribute videos

pat benatar is one of my fav ladies of the 80s

  • Cant compare Pink even in Pats class different forms of Music

  • This song inspired me to beat the dogshit out of my boss

  • i love u, pat benatar

  • awesome lyrics, certainly applicable to today

  • Be sure and buy a copy of Pat Benatar's autobiography "Between a Heart and a Rock Place," on sale now!

  • Great song :-)

  • she had such a cool voice.. the movie was campy

  • @edawg2307 She still has that "cool" voice. (And the movie is still campy.) LOL

  • this movie was AMAZING

  • brings bck memories.

  • the 3 people who didn't like this song are probably NOT invincible.

  • I love this song! It's awesome, moving and very enlightening! I'm a child of the 90s but I love the 80s music and this is one of the best songs I've ever heard from that era. It's a truely amazing song.

  • The guy on drums needs to take it down a notch.

  • @AFornix Oh no, Myron is great! His insane beat is one of the main reasons for this song's success...and many other Benatar hits, too!

  • Me neither. This song is awesome

  • i have no problem saying that this is one of my top five fav 80s movies

  • @blackwolfblade95 and I have no problem saying this is maybe my fav movie ever LOL !!!!

  • @mysterymediacorp this movie is a fav of mine to

  • fair is fair!

  • This makes me miss the 80s and early 90s so much!

  • @antjcar86 DITTO BROTHER DITTO ! These ¨Performers¨ now don´t have jack on the 80´s and 90´s. 2000-2011 will go down in history as the lost decade. The trashed out Any Winehouse´s of the world etc.

  • this is my all time fav movie of all time i can watch it over and over and i love this song its perfect for this movie

  • I know people always say "80's music" but I call it "80's hero music!" These songs are always like a montage for heroes! Bring back the 80's! fuck this god damn r&b bullshit! It's like kryptonite for my ears!!

  • I love Pat, she rocked the 80's.

  • MILF! queen of MILF!

    Perrfa

  • Of course she was not showing skin. She was pregnant during the filming of this video. Kinda made her look badass, and more beautiful at the same time. But skin was not her stock in trade. She' would make you drool if she had a parka and football helmet on in every video.

  • I love this song

  • I must of seen the movie about half a dozen times during the 80's. I actually liked it. Showcased life in 80's Texas. Pat really sang her tail off this great powerful song. ..and this is from a guy of color.

  • I so loved this movie growing up and Pat's song was so perfect!

  • Great fucking song, great fucking movie

  • Legend of Billie Jean!

  • Awesome.

  • Pat Benatar rules!! I love, love, love this video. She sang about being a strong woman and leaning to do things on your own. She is one of the reasons why women singers evolved.. I just love her hair too. Rock on Pat!

  • @mustangpatty51 your so right!!

  • Great song, great movie! I miss the "olden days"....LOL

  • holy crap does she look hot, i mean the clothes, the hair, the make-up, grrr

  • @cr00mz

Pat Benatar was definitely NOT into showing skin.

  • @pinz2022 shows that she isnt a slutt like most singers today

  • She didnt have to make a career by showing her ass and acting like a whore (like artists now)

She made it on PURE TALENT. Best womans voice I have heard, I think she even sounds better now. She also has a unique dress style.

  • Great music....its all about confidence and Pat Benatar has a lot. 80's is best era for music.

Now all music is about demeaning people and telling girls "to be whores"

Pat still has a great voice!

  • The best song with Love is a battlefield^^

  • I know most people did not like the movie this song is from but I like The Legend Of Billie Jean. I think it had a good point and was totally's 80s!

  • @lettie113 I love this song as well as the movie. Still don't understand why the movie was not well recieved. Not the best acting, yes, but the story line was good as well as the music. This is my favorite Pat Benatar song.

  • @vernzz2000

I thought it was a good flick too. A classic "rebellious youth" movie. It also started the confusion about the two Slaters. Helen Slater (real name: Schlachter) and Christian Slater (real name: Hawkins) play brother and sister.

  • God i so love her!!!! So many kudos to her for opening the way for women who can sing their asses off!!!!! She will always be the shit!!!!!

  • ONE GREAT SONG!!!

  • THIS SONG IS MY FAVORITE SONG i love the movie lengend of billie jean to this song is in it she was a genious for writing this song <3 !!!!!

  • This song won on American Music Award for Best Female Rock song, She outlast Madonna on Material Girl, in 1985. Love the music this year also, even watching Grammy, American Music Award, and Mtv award. Love the 80's.

  • çok kalite bir müzik herzaman severek dinledim
