  • The dog's bollocks.

  • I've got a photograph of my Grandma asleep in a deck chair minus her teeth in the middle of the crowd on the beach! She wouldn't mind me telling you about this; she'd just have a right good laugh about it!

    Thank you, and Morrisman.

  • shame yu dnt see blackpool like this no more :(

  • @MuffinManWhitley Blackpool has never been the same since the last Leyland PD3 buses went in November 1988. Forget about the trams or amusement arcades, the PD3s were an integral part of the place and the resort is a faint shadow of it's former self without them.

  • My word, that takes me back some...Back in the late fifties we caught the Bell to Blackpool for the day. lf you didn't have a girlfriend with you when you went, you usually had one on the last train back. The light bulbs unscrewed in carriages with no corridors and pulled by a steamer that never seemed to hurry. Oh happy days!

  • Howard is still a frequent to our local and is a whizz on the karaoke. He's a most charming individual and has been for the thirty years I've known him.

He's from the old school which is reflected in his music. Bless him.
