The security of the doors and windows is second to none.With no key I would say to gain entry to the appt is not possible. I have seen the locks with my own eyes. Top quality, very secure. Whoever got in had a key!

I think Jane Tanner is lying. If it was dark then how Ms Tanner could be sure the child had the same pyjamas as Madeleine? And if she was able to see clearly the pyjamas would she not recognised Madeleine? Would she not rise the alarm?

I think there is light at the top of road where the side entrance is. It is on the left hand corner as you walk up.
I think the is also one at the entrance off the main road on the left as you go in.
