You are leaving out a very important step. You need to open the mixer in FL studio select the master channel. Then on the lower right hand corner of the mixer, you have to click on output and then select the appropriate driver from the list. Otherwise you won't get any sound.

why does adobe audition say not connected when i choose asio4all as my audio driver. im trying to connect to my usb condenser mic. i knw its connected because it records when i use adobe audtion 3.0 windows sound as my audio driver. heres a image of what im seeing when i choose asio4all

I have a usb microphone...and a m-audio firewire 410 preamp...I put ASIO on but it wont allow me to enable my mic...its there and everything but it says its idle. What does that mean?

already did that. I tried Audacity and looks like it works there with the Soundmax driver because it doesn't require this stupid asio4all driver. I've tried everything from changing every option at a time and together , to reinstalling my whole drivers (even my motherboard)

maybe your pc is too old, or doesnt meet ASIO4ALL pc requirements of fl studio pc requires.

hah, good one. My pc was updated 2 months ago and it can fluently run crysis :) fl studio is like an MS Paint for me .

same thing with me... on d control panel it shows my sound card and everything is on but d "Speaker/HP" option and it says that its "unavailable!" "in use by other application?" "MS GS Wavetable Synth' Enable?" and I have no idea what that means... any help?
