  • Wow... The first lady seemed a little confused about what the hell Hispanic is! And second, there should be NO dominican saying they dont have african in them.... Lol

  • You know I've lived in Puerto Rico and have been to the Dominican Republic and my race never came up I felt like I was seen as a person and not a color

  • I wish the interviewer had rehearsed his questions a bit better. He doesn't sound too smart.

  • LOL @ all the mad black ppl.

  • first she denyed being a african, then saying we're all africans smdh!!

  • @misshotnsexy LOL!

  • @jcrump6

creoles in america is a subgroup of african americans like GULLAH AND GEECHEE PEOPLE.... also creole can mean french and spanish mix(spain)

  • In america during slave time you was black or white not mix.We all know obama is mix but because he looks more black they call him that just like mariah carey is mix but looks more white so they see her as white. In parts of russia they will view some people who are not black as black like darker skin indian people i saw that video years ago on youtube.

  • your not light skinned and you dont look white,,,,,,,,,,,,,the darker girl here is better looking.

  • these idiots are african dominican just like i'm african americans. No where near latino. Do they know spainards where spanish speaking whit people from europe that came and conquered the americas that intergrated with the indians and black slaves. Just self confusion with no self awareness. If your hair nappy, or skinned was darken by the sun, your black get over it.

  • They are Afro-latinas;both are black ppl coming from a Latin- American culture. When you get down to it all Blacks born in the Americas are African-American.

  • @NapsRHair2Stay true yet dont forget that dominicans are both african and From Spain so they belong in multiple categories

  • she's not that light. wtf is wrong with her ?

  • @AhavaYah yes she is! she's lighter than me

  • Whenever their is afican blood involved in a persons genetics, people call you black, its just how it is, mixed or not, hispanic or not. When the hispanic population grow, and we start to see more black ones, they will call them black hispanic, watch and see. America has a color problem, they dont completely go by your culture, they look at your color first. Those women would be considered black, no matter how mixed they are.

  • They sound like confused Americans, not Dominicans.

  • the girl isnt making sense at the begining men.....

  • the afro Dominican girl on the right is amazing wow...... what her name she is so smart and beautiful. she is smarter than the guy doing the interview.

  • Im Dominican- Brazilian and Feel have Tainos Hair, Dominican Life and Brazilian Accent

  • Both of these women are a bunch of babbling idiots and contradictions.

  • The term of African-American (AA) is NOT a synonym for Black Race!

The AAs are a unique & largely Mixed-Race^ ETHNIC group composed ONLY of "The DescendantsOf-The-Survivors' Of the Targets of the Chattel-slavery System that took place on the Continental United States in it's antebellum era"!!

[^The Lineage of MOST (+70%) AAs is that of +20-30% European & +25% Amerindian THROUGHOUT the line]

[*The Non-AA Citizens of the U.S. who are Racially-Black are called Black-American (BA), not AA]

  • We are grouped as Hispanic because we all share a common colonial hertitage and speak the language of Spain. To me it makes no sense in trying to fight why people assume you are another nationality. It can be confusing. People can't read minds and automatically know what nationality one happens to be. I'm pretty sure if I was in the United States, know one would automatically know that I'm Puerto Rican. They would probably assume that I am from Mexico. It's no big deal for me.

  • @Unknownkid2 I absolutely agree w/ you my friend. Ppl get so angry when it is assumed they are another thing.

The term Hispanic is only in reference to the language that is spoken and through which the culture and communication is/are transmitted.

Many ppl hate the term Hispanic because they feel it only acknowledges the Spani(ard)sh heritage and leaves out the African and Amerindian heritage. But it all depends on the person.

  • @chsn09 Very true. Hispanic is a direct denotation to Spain which during the Roman period was known as "Hispania". That is were the term originates from, but in general it is not worth fighting or getting angry over someone who wrongly assumed you to be a particular nationality. I don't care what people generalize me as because their opinions don't affect what I am and who I am.

  • @Unknownkid2 Very true. But ppl there are many indigenous ppl that feel that that term is disrespctful because they think Hispanic is putting up Spain and that they don't get to recognize their true heritage.

Many ppl have different takes on these words.

  • @chsn09 Ohh yes I forgot about that. I can see why a purely Native American would be offended by that term.

  • @Unknownkid2 Even some Afrodescendants are offended by that term Hispanic/Latino. But that is on them.

I see the term Hispanic/Latino as being only a reference to part of their identity

  • this chick is such a liar, lol @ her being light. u r not light but brown and dominicans come in allllllll colors so why would any dominican really ask if she dominicanb b/c she is light? omg so offended

  • @jenniferbush Yeah, many ppl associate being Dominican w/ darker skin! Some Dominicans face questions if they are very light skinned! It is total ignorance because Dominicans can be of any race and color! Dominican is just a nationality!

  • @chsn09

Being questioned by non-dominicans is one thing but for dominicans living in D.R to be shocked that u have light skin is 100% b.S. the president is Light the last president looked Spaindard so plz. and that's your opinion if u think Dominicans can be "Any race". Most Dominicans do not believe in Race.

  • @jenniferbush Oh well in DR is a different story! Yea, usually the lighter slimed the more admiration one gets! I was shocked she said that in DR she is questioned about her skin color but that is strange because they all come in different colors! Dominicans being of any race is a FACT! Dominicans do believe in race but maybe I should say skin color! Race though of course in other places like DR does not manifest itself like here in the USA, but to say race does not come up would be a lie

  • @chsn09

i don't understand your second comment, say it again plz. and For most dominicans we don't not claim a race, we rep D.R plain and simple

  • @jenniferbush LOL. Everything you said is true, however I was saying that if you think race or racism does not play a role in Dominican Republic, then that would be a lie. Colorism is very big in the DR and many clubs explicitly state that they deny entry of ppl that are black into their clubs. Some Dominicans do claim a race. But I do understand that nationality does come first before race etc. However just because they're Dominican does not mean automatic unity.

  • Nice video

  • Cameron Diaz would be considered a white Hispanic. This is what they mean by non-white Hispanic.

  • Black americans are just ignorant and uneducated.

  • @rotena25 What is your background? Why are you saying that Black Americans are ignorant and uneducated? That is as general and ignorant as saying white ppl are informed and educated!

  • @rotena25 Why? Because we point out the obvious and stir up the pot because of it?

  • @FlatulenceFox nope

  • @rotena25 care to elaborate? or is it just an unqualified blanket judgment?

  • @FlatulenceFox "Point out the obvious and stir up the pot because of it"? what is the obvious and what do you stir up?

  • @rotena25 How about you answer my question first. After all I asked and you never enlightened me on what the bug up your butt is about African Americans.

  • *sigh* What People need to understand is that there are ALL kinds of people in Latin America!! an that being Latino/Hispanic or whatever is NOT a Race JEEZ! people need to go read a book or something :/

  • the blks were force to the latin countries too, these chick arent that smart

  • & I also forgot to mention that Dominicans are VERY proud of their Spaniard, Taino & the more Contrevercial African roots.... as you can see in some of the lyrics were praising the women in either being Blancita, Morenita or Negrita!!!!! you also see our pride in the instrements we use, food we cook, our dances that particully have african origin, when we parade our flags colors during parades, festivals etc...

  • Why do people have to make this so complicated... Dominicans are Latinos THAT'S IT... we aren't black nor white were just simply DOMINICAN! we are descendants of Spaniard Colonizers... the Native Taino & the African Slaves bought by the Spaniards (just like most other Latino groups). The Spaniard, Taino & African are in us Physically, Culturally, in our Music, our Foods, our Dances without the Spaniard, Taino & African the average Dominican wouldn't exist nor would we be so diverse in color.

  • @xxxShesAmazingxxx because it really isnt a complete definition. I guess the tendancy in latino america is to overlook race but saying just dominican just identifies with a country. For instance, the black dominicans I have seen on the island AND IM NOT TALKING ABOUT HATIANS many of them dropped off in any african american neiborhood would not be seen as anything different so its realistic not to expect people to identify them as black. But yes they are Dominicans. Black dominicans.

  • that stupid bitch aint dominican

  • @ELqueLEmeteDURO How are you gonna tell her what she is?

  • SAME thing happened to me, im light skinned, but dominican, maybe its due to the fact that my father was puerto rican? idk =D

  • DR's history is 1,000's of years? What fake history are they learning out there? DR history is similar to African-American history - Europeans took US as slaves and took land from the natives.

  • Afro-Euro mix ppl are both mulatto and black. They have the ability to use these two labels interchangeably. Or at least in America they do bc of the one drop rule and the fact that many mulattoes fought in the civil rights movement. Either way women like these two will always be Afro ppl.

  • The girl at 2:21 looks mix..she looks kind of Indian or Indo-Guyanese

  • Afro Dominicans ARE Hispanics period!

  • @chsn09 Their is not such thing as being hispanic.

  • @rotena25 Yes there is a such thing as being Hispanic! Hispanic is just not a race! Afro Dominicans are Hispanic of course! But of course that is just one faction of their identity! Martin Luther King is what is known as black to many but at the same time he is also an American(USA)

But Hispanic/Latino is definitely NOT a race which many ppl fail to realize!

  • WHY THE FUCK YOU WANA BE BLACK FOR

  • @PeterGuetta

Because EVERYONE wants to be black . They want to talk black act black, dress black, follow black trends, understand humanity through the struggles and analyses that black people have brought to the world.

Black people have created the very definition of what it means to be merely human.

You can't find that meaning anywhere else.

    Get over it little boy.

  • @PeterGuetta Why not? Something wrong with the heritage you were born with? Did you get to choose what color and heritage you were born?

  • YOU NOT FUCKIG BLACK , YOUR A FUCKING TAINO INDIAN !

  • @PeterGuetta Oh God...shut up, please. You're embarrassing yourself.

  • MS. DOMINICANS WHITES/ENGLISH AND BLACKS ARE ALSO NOT NATIVE TO THE USA--THEY ARE ALSO IMMIGRANTS. tHE ONLY NATIVES IN AMERICA ARE NATIVE A/INDIO AND MOST HISPANICS ARE NATIVE AMERICANS WHICH MAKES THEM THE LONGEST INHABITANTS OF THIS AMERICAN CONTINENT. ASKING FOR ACCEPTANCE IN YOUR OWN HOME WHAT AN INSULT THATS LIKE HISPANICS GOING TO EUROPE AND WHITES ASKING FOR ACCEPTANCE FROM NATIVE A. !!!!

  • WE NEED TO STOP THE HATE AND UNITE AND EDUCATE OUR SELVES PEOPLE.

IT IS SO SAD NOT TO KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND IN THAT REGARD HAITIANS ARE TEN TIMES AHEAD OF THE DOMINICANS. MOST AFRICAN AMERICANS ARE THE DESCENDENT OF AFRICANS THAT WERE BROUGHT TO THE AMERICA DURING THE SLAVE TRADE WHICH INCLUDE YOU TWO MISS DOMINICAN.

AMERICA=SOUTH AMERICA, CENTRAL AMERICA, CARIBBEAN, NORTH AMERICA AND NOT JUST THE USA.

  • Que sin verguenza, she is a liar! How can she possibly say that noone thinks shes Dominican because she's too light skinned?!?!?! any regular ghetto dominican looks like her, i bet her family lives in a haitian batey. she's a mulata, not a black, look at haitians

  • @duartenio Yeah, you're right LOL. I can say that...I mean when I go to DR people don't really care whether I look "Indian" (the REAL Indians from INDIA) or not, but I can say people don't think I'm Dominican..at all.

  • @duartenio what do u knoo about Haiti Conoo Haiti iz a Mix Country Just like the Dominican Repulic . ddey share same island ..

  • Well, Hispanic isn't a race..she's confused. Definitely not African American, you mean Black. Not every African is American..

  • Dominicans are some of the most beautiful people I've seen. Light skinned or dark skinned, they're gorgeous. They definitely have hispanic features though, even the darker skinned ones. That combined with them being spanish speaking is usually a give away.

  • It's just about the ratio.

anyvvay, I knovv vvhat you mean. See you later.

  • @jftc00 Alright! Peace

  • Oh my God....

I'm tired of this discussion. I hope you understand vvhat I'm saying anyvvay.

  • @jftc00 OMG thanks lol! Yeah i understand what you are saying! you were just exaggerating a bit and this was manipulative and can be looked at from both sides! Remember to distinguish the micro from the macro!

  • I vvould believe plenty of Dominicans having straight hair but not plenty of afroamericans having it. Some AAs have curly hair but that's about.

  • @jftc00 Lol! You see you are stereotyping and generalizing! Dominicans may have a significant European component but they are not as white as you think! AAs are not as black as ppl think! My point is in DR or Latin America and Caribbean you will meet some of the darkest/blacks in your entire life while in the USA you will meet some of the lightest/whitest blacks in your life! Most AAs of USA are too light to be considered black in Latin America and Caribbean!

  • @jftc00 Correctiom I meant to say in Latin America and the Caribbean you will meet some if the darkest/blackest whites in your entire life while in the USA you will meet some of the lightest/whitest blacks in your entire life ever! Most AAs of USA would not be considered black in Latin America or at least something other than black is my point!

  • Dominicans do not resemble the average african american, they only resemble the small minority of the african american population who have a significant amount of European ancestry. Otherwise, the Dominican is closer to the Mulatto and the AA is closer to the pure african.

The difference is, Dominicans are mixed. The average african american is 1/8th european, while the average dominican is found to be about 1/2 (50/50) Only 19.6% of African Americans are at LEAST 25% European.

  • @jftc00 Nice try strawman! You said "Dominicans do not resemble the average african american, they only resemble the small of the african American population who have a significant amount of European ancestry"! BUT NOW, do you mean genetics wise or phenotpes wise! What about those Dominicans who resemble the average AAs or AAs who resemble the average Dominican! This can be looked at from different angles!

  • @jftc00 Also most AAs are not closer to the pure Africans! Maybe the Gullahs are and in ancestral areas in the South but you are neglecting other elements and ancestry of AAs! For example ME I am half AA and half Caribbean!y AA side of the family is very mixed up as you say with Dominicans! My AA side is very mixed and has significant European ancestry followed by some Native!

  • @jftc00 Every african american would have to be tested to know the amount of mixed ancestry, and that has not taken place yet.

  • I have never met an afroamerican vvith straight hair

  • @jftc00 LMFAO I have not ever equated Dominicans with having straight hair either loll! Dominicans seems about the same! This Dominican girl told me am I out of my mind to think MOST OR ALL Dominicans have straight hair! So she said most Dominicans have curly to coarse nappy hair! But I know plenty of AAs and Dominicans who have straight hair

  • @jftc00 See that is the thing! That is my point! You are doing the same thing to AAs that you don't want done to Dominicans or Dominican Republic! You say African Americans you have met did and do not have straight hair! You have not met all AA people! That right there is a generalization! Also are you sure those ppl were AAs because many AAs are or have a Caribbean or Latino descent! Which is why this can be complicated

  • Dominicans have more European and Taino admixture than afroamericans and the genetics shovvs it. Period.

It's not about looks. I have been in many forum and the topic has been discussed many times. You need to read a little be more...

  • @jftc00 LMFAO! Just because you have been to many forums does not make you an expert, and I read A LOT and I have been to many forums also, so maybe you need to read a bit more? Who knows! Okay genetics may show that which I am aware of but it depends on who and if all AAs and Dominicams were tested! AAs are just as diverse and mixed as Dominicans although you have to watch how we analyze and compare a subgroup to a nationality! Like comparing apples and oranges in a way! Don'tchuthink?

  • @chsn09 Just diverse as Dominicans? VVhat percent of afroamericans are vvhite?

  • The majority of Dominicans vvould be black but ONLY if the ONE DROP RULE is applied. But the ONE DROP RULE is not used everyvvhere. It's just an american system.

Besides, the average Dominican have more European or Indigenous admixture than the average afroamerican. The admixture varies by region.

  • @jftc00 I think what we really aré going by is phenotype and looks because phenotype may not reflect what is in one's genotype! Manny Ramirez we would all say black if he never opened his mouth!

  • @jftc00 This does not even really have to do with the one drop rule! It has to do with phenotype and looks! Black or African or Negroid features are always the one singled out or spotted! So it is easier for any society to call someone black rather than white because the whites theoretically will not accept them even though they may be mostly white etc!

  • @jftc00 The USA does not really support the one drop rule at all anymore! It is a matter of perception! Halle Berry's mother is white from England and ppl forget she is a mulatta! Same with Vanessa Williams a mulatta!

  • @chsn09 vanessa williams is not biracial but her parents are afro-americans, And the only reason African American Identity is easier to define is not because of MAJOR phenotipical differences between the Average African American, and the Average Dominican.. Like Saanaa Lathan, Blair Underwood, Beyonce, and Zoe saldana, Diana ramirez, but because of Clearly defined Racial lines, of what it means to be white, or AA. The AA

I mentioned would easily fit into Dominican society by looks alone.

  • @jftc00 Also it is hard to define an average Dominican or an average AA because again we are talking about a perceptual/perceptional imaginary! Also many people of Afrodescent like Dominicans and other Latinos or Caribbeans may choose to identify as black or African American or after many generations incorporating themselves into the AA group and identity which makes it more relative and manipulative! I am

just analyzing this further because it goes into many different complex perspectives!

  • @chsn09 It is easier to define a average afroamerican than to difine a average Dominican. VVe are more diverse obviously.

  • @jftc00 Like I said comparing apples and oranges? AAs are a subgroup and those who can or do identify as AA can vary! Dominicans are a nationality of course and yes as a nation Dominicans are diverse! My point is that AAs are just as diverse as Dominicans!

  • There are some ignorant comments in this video. 85% of Dominicans have african ancestry in some degree but that doesn't mean they are all black. The majority of Dominicans are mulattoes in varying degrees vvhich go from the alex rodriguez, albert pujols and colin povvell type to the Zoe Saldana and alfonso Ribeiro type. Many are triracial and there are even some vvho look mestizo. That's vvhy the DR demographics say 73% of Dominicans are mixed vvhich is the proper vvay to talk about that.

  • @jftc00 You see that is the problem right! There all other Afrodescent factions such as Dominicans and the Dominican Republic are being compared to Black/African Americans of traditional USA! That right there is the problem in itself! And you can't necessarily compare the two groups of AAs and (Afro) Dominicanos! Most AAs do have a significant amount of European and Indigenous admixture!

  • @chsn09- I wish you knew how much "BLACK" dark Puerto/ Ricans I met in my life. And trust me- a lot of them did NOT have the stereotypical so-called Eurocentric features.

  • @chsn09- Yeah I agree wirh you completely - all hair is BEAUTIFUL.. But I was just trying to tell borinkenny that my Boricua/ Puerto Rican friends have "NAPPY" Coarse Hair.. He Thought he was being funny - with those rude comments on Dominicans..

  • @mrdominican777 You are straying away from my point! So are you saying european straighter hair is better? You said you had good hair which is European hair!

  • @borinkenny- Some of my Friends are Boricua/ Puerto Rican- and tell me how NAPPY And Dry there hair gets- if they don't use "Relaxers" And "Perms"... I have good Hair ! I HAVE SPANIARD HAIR... MY Hair is Smooth, Soft, Silky, and HEALTHY..

  • @mrdominican777 Um HAIR IS HAIR you think straight silky hair is good or better hair?? Well that is your opinion~! All types of hair can be beautiful!

  • @borinkenny- Some of our Sexy Latinas come from the Dominican Republic ! Do Not call us apes ! We Dominicans are Sexy !

  • @borinkenny- Do NOT even go there ! You just brought Haitians into this ! Do you know that Some of our Haitian Celebrities are WHITE ! The media only shows the black haitians. We have White/ Multiracial Haitian celebrities like Reggine Chassagne , Yohann Dore, T- Vice, Carimi, etc. So Do NOT put Haitians into this !

  • @borinkenny- ARE YOU RACIST ??? I am Dominican and I AM NOT NEGRO ! I AM SPANIARD AND HAVE OTHER EUROPEAN BLOOD IN ME ! DO NOT bring Haitians in this because some Haitians are WHITE ! Get your facts straight ! !

  • she is a mulatta most dominicans are negros and mulattos and look like apes it must be the haitian blood,

  • @borinkenny Dude don't be racist and hating on the people of Dominican Republic! Most of DR may be mulatto y Negro but so is Cuba! Cuba is mostly mulatto y Negro! Also Puerto Ricans can be just as black!! In fact even though not all Puerto Ricans are black most Puerto Ricans have at least some Taino and African blood! And you are calling them apes? Also Dominicans are NOT Haitians! Most Black Dominicans are of Hispanic colonial/slave descent!

  • Black people have been in America since the early 1600s, before the U.S. became a country. They started off as 7 year indentured servants and when America became a country it was declared that they would be locked into 'perpetual servitude' (slavery).

  • @blkcul Black people have been in the Americas meaning the entire western hemisphere since 1492! And by the very early 1500s slaves were taken to what is now Latin America and the Caribbean first! Dominican Republic was the first land to begin and launch the slavery and slave trade that would exist well into the very late 1800s!

  • 3:38 black people are migrants but so are whites. The only people who aren't migrants are native americans and we also need to acknowledge the mixing between native americans and whites that took place in early american history. We are a totally new breed of people formed in America because black people are so different than when we first came from africa. Not only biologically but culturally we don't have the same language, customs or the same traditions.

  • and afro latinos werent force to be here? unbelievable. its sad that they cant even answer simple questions, pretty as hell but lost as fuck. until we acknowledge certain things we can never live up to our full potential all of us blk people in the west are the same, latinos AND americans come in all shades, what is so different? if beyonce said she was rican we would believe her, if chirstina milian said she was afro american we would believe her,the only thing that is different is the culture

  • studies show that DR has more taino ancestry than PR or Cuba (not tryin affend any1)

we have the more black and native american ancestry than the rest of the island

and no the tainos werent wipe off

u can go 2 el cibao or any where inland and u can still find tainos

  • @bkhex Idk if that is true about DR having more Taino ancestry than PR or Cuba, but then again a DNA/genetics population sampling studies was done and it was saying that between 18-20% of the population has indigenous ancestry bloodlines! Haiti believe it or not, actually still has Taino/indigenous ancestry! There are some Taino Haitians! Cuba has some indigenous ancestry and if it does remain in any vestiges it exists most likely in the easternmost parts of Cuba! In PR there is some Taino also!

  • @chsn09 yea its true

im not promoting dominicans but dr has da most and den cuba den pr

same goes for african heritigue dr den cuba den pr

yea i no haiti stilll has taino dey acually still have mullato clans

  • @bkhex Well, you are so right! Tainos/indigenous often intermixed in the mountainous interior regions with escaped African slaves and this mixture took place beginning in the very early 1500s! Black and indigenous mixture was and is called zambos! Most of the people who will have Taino will be those who are of African descent or those will have black ancestry! Cuba barely has Taino ancestry although Native Americans from the states immigrated to Cuba actually!

  • most tainos i no are poor farmers that live inland in the mountains

where many tainos and black escaped to the spanish and french

    untill the haitian revolution

yea i no haiti stilll has taino dey acually still have mullato clans

  • Love the video. My skin color was like the second girl(with straight hair) more in the lighter side, and people thought I was mixed and now after years of skin darkening from being out in the sun, people just automatically assume I'm African American. But yes im Dominican

  • they were dumb omg..

  • i love dominican people...............

  • I am of Dominican descent and i consider myself Black. I have a brother who looks completely White-European straight hair and everything and I have a sister who looks like a mulatto and has red straight hair and we all consider ourselves Black.

  • well some dominicans actually look taino, most of them are mixed black and white though

  • Where did they deny being African?? Many Afro-Latinos (myself included and I'm much darker than those two chicas frescas) do not call ourselves black because that implies something about culture, religion, language, history etc. but are proud to acknowledge our African heritage and to acknowledge ourselves as members of the same RACE as black americans.

  • @DominicanoOR They are mixed race obviously but they do have black in them! Black NOT meaning Black American of USA but yes they are black or can be considered as such as Black, HOWEVER I mean the Hispanic/Latino term exists in a legal sense, so WHY should so called Hispanics/Latinos of AFRICAN descent have to be racialized into a mainstreamed USA racial identity! White Hispanics/Latinos are NOT ostricized for DENYING or not identifying with their WHITENESS or being white!

  • @DominicanoOR

And since when African Americans have had any interest in embracing the true sense of Dominican identity, which is of mulattoes? They have been too busy denying people of mixed origins to the point of labeling them deniers of black racial identity, THAT is a FACT. Inverse colorism is no longer a dirty little secret, you know.

  • @Certeroooo

    That is 100% FALSE!!!

The people of the African-American (AA) ETHNIC group have been some of our biggest supporters in the Mixed-Race Movement.

(ex. AA Congressman John Conyers (& his allies in the NAACP) led the fight to have the Multiracial Box added to U.S. government forms.)

The One-Drop Rule-Embracing 'Black Power Movement' (BPM) is a product of the 'West Indians' (WIs) -- ex. Malcolm X, Farrakhan, etc. -- NOT the AAs.

The AAs led the peaceful 'Civil Rights Movement' (CRM)!

  • @DominicanoOR NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DOMINICA ARE NO THE SAME AT BLACK AMERICA STUPID DOMINICAN ARE LATIO SO TREE RASIAL NONE BLACK BLAK IS BLACK LATINO IS LATIO SO NOTHING THE SAME AT BLACK PEOPLE NADA QUE VER LOKO

  • these woman are bearly of latino descent especially the one on the right but are denying their african heritage

  • Lmao about the latin comment, and who da fuck said hispanics are a race? That I know there are only three races, mongoloid, negroid and caucasoid, and these have sub categories

  • @drgangster809n

Hispanic is not a race, although the white-inspired/black militant makers of the census form would make you think so. And NO, there are OTHER sub-groups of mixed races who have been long denied to the point that some people don't know what they are as they have been INDUCED by purist racial agendas. Mulattos, mestizos, zambos DO EXIST. Hispanic is a term associated with cutlural and language legacy, period. Afro-Latino or Afro-Hispanic would make sense.

  • And yea that girl on the short hair doesn't look black she looks asian

  • Tainos were not wiped out it was a strategy use by the spaniards to tell the queen the tainos died off as excuse to the importation of slave to help out on the plantations our history books are wrong

  • Only in america will people try to pretend that something that happened to their family 500 years ago has a direct influence on their modern life.

Every single human being on this planet has an ancestor that was either conquered or enslaved, get over it already.

You don't see white people light brown hair and blue eyes complaining about not having white hair because of the russians.

  • @pfat0

    I agree.

  • that first woman is really ridiculous. Hispanic doesnt mean it comes from Hispaniola. Im a light-skinned dominican and I know that DR obviously has african roots. The tainos were wiped out in the colonial times. I barely see as much taino ancestry walking around in the streets. I see white dominicans and an overwhelmingly afro-dominican majority

  • @EddieG5Fly actually the Indigenous peoples of the Americas were NOT wiped out, that is a myth promoted by Europeans. Our peoples survived, we are here, many of us are mixed with other races, but our heritage is still alive. How does a Taino look? look again in your streets.

  • @CarlosDCblog yea i know what you're saying...I mean there still are taino descendents. Its just that its aggravating when an OBVIOUSLY afro-descended person refuses to accept his blackness, yet claims his very small taino heritage, if any.

btw, where are you from? [in the caribbean i mean]

  • @EddieG5Fly speak the truth shame the devil
