And Jamal Crawfords always goes up, and jumps a little bit forward, as you can clearly see in this video. He shoots from behind the 3-point line, then his feet land 1,5 feet INside the 3-point line. Bowen does absolutely nothing wrong there, he just closes him out.
I love the Spurs, and Bowen was an awesome perimeter defensive player, but you've got to AT LEAST give the guy who's shooting the ball enough space to come down and land without stepping on your foot. Isaiah was right but handled it poorly. If he keeps his cool during the game and just sends the tape into the league for review after the game, it would' ve been more effective and the league would've been more likely to crack down on those types of plays.

bruce bowen tries to intentionally injure people. that's about the lowest thing you can do. it's even lower, however, that popovich lets dirty play like that go on. i think they are both shameful influences on pro basketball today. the way they play is great, they're in the title hunt seemingly every season, but some of the dirty tactics they use are just downright inexcusable. if the spurs team plane went down and they all died i would laugh.
