  • I saw the play last November and thought it was awesome. I've been wanting to see this movie since I found out about it. Unfortunately, I don't think any theater near me is currently playing it and I might have to wait until it comes out on DVD to see it.

  • Thank you for reviewing this CLASSIC FILM!!!

  • I would watch one more hour of that argument, it was awesome.

  • Just got back from it, and yes, it was extremely hilarious! Great performances all around and so cleverly written!

  • A lot of credit goes to Fiona...something for casting. This is the perfect cast!

  • JODIE FOSTER IS A HOT MILF

  • ~Roman Polanski? Wow I didnt think he'd be directing another film but this sounds great & Ive got to see it~

    ~Amazing review Chris~!

  • @Duk31sth3m4n Hmm. Maybe not. However pledding guilty to the charge and serving the court mandated time might. The only reason he fled to France is because the judge for whatever reason decided to push for further sentencing

  • I like Chatalbash but Stuckmann deserves the "most reliable critic" catch phrase. Stuckmanized has too much IndoctriNation vibe.

  • Alright then, might check it out.

  • wonderful review

  • hey chris, you should review the star wars films

  • Good review. Gonna check this out for sure.

  • Is this movie based on the play "God of Carnage"? I saw it in 2008 in London, the Ralph Fiennes cast. The acting was great; the plot was horrifically pretentious.

  • Are you reviewing Sherlock Holmes 2?

  • Damn, whenever I hear that music during 1:20 I can't help but remeber A Clockwork Orange. That movie just sticked in mind in a way...

  • Are all these one-location movies always based on stage plays?

  • great vid, hell yea i want to see this haha, keep it up

    your boy, WIll

  • Tom will argue with you for a long time!!!

  • i love that you mention a lot 12 angry men on your movie reviers, you should do more classic reviews

  • "I am glad our son kicked the SHIT out of your son! And I WIPE my ASS with your human rights!" That line in the trailer makes me piss myself. Cannot wait for this movie!

  • Big fan of Polanski so I am gonna check this out.

  • "One of the best films I've seen all year"... you always say that! Reminds me of Gab and Dad's videos when their kid reviews a film and always gives it a five out five.

  • I find it highly interesting that you really liked this film, but Tom Chatalbash didn't. I'll just wait till the other reviews actually come out and decide whether I'll see this film too. 12 Angry Men is a masterpiece...

  • HA.....i told everybody that this movie is awesome....but they....-_-

  • Great review, I think this is online, I might watch it.

  • do you even have to mention that Christoph Waltz was good in his role?

  • Christoph Waltz is finally getting the roles he deserves.. you could see his greatness when he did german procederal dramas

  • This is a really interesting review because Tom Chatalbash was kinda the opposite, but I think that's cool because it shows we're all different and have different opinions. Good work Mr Stuckmann.

  • @ChrisStuckmann It has a 7.9 on imdb so w/e.Also i did understand the ending, but i still say it suks.It was just starting to get good then out of know where it ends...

  • Great review, wondering did you see MY DINNER WITH ANDRE? Please tell me what you think. Thanks CCC

  • chris have u seen phone booth?

  • This film seems reminiscent of the classic Hitchcock film "Rope.". In the aspect where the script, directing, and acting are all good, and it takes place entirely in an apartment. Different premise, but similarites are there. Great review!

  • Great review, Chris! I LOOOVE 12 Angry Men; I can never take my eyes off the screen when I'm watching that film. It doesn't even feel like a movie, it feels like reality. This film sounds very good from what you say.

  • My indie theater's not getting Carnage until January 20. Pretty solid cast overall (not a big fan of John C. Reilly though) and I know Polanski is great.

  • I completly agree with you. Love this movie! But i would say that Reilly eventhough he was good he wasn't on par with the perfomance beasts that are Winslet, Foster and Waltz.

  • Roman Polanski has also been great and raping a little girl and getting away with it. :)

  • Great review but i do not Watch Roman Polansk i am not saying you should not Watch movies by him i just like people to know what he did he Rape a 13 girl so i just cant watch a movie by him

  • Great review, and YOUR HAIR! SO BOUNCY.

  • this movie sounds good. hopefully it comes to my Theatre, but unfortunately most limited release movies dont seem to :(

  • for me, its kind of hard to imagine a movie being in one place with the same conversation and such, so i'm very curious and i hope i will be able to catch it in theaters. great review chris.

  • BAM

  • BAM

  • I can't wait to see this!!! I saw the trailer when I went to see Martha Marcy Mae Marlene, and I was just like YES!!! Kate Winslet is probably my favorite actress, and I love everyone else, and I love that it takes place in my favorite neighborhood in Brooklyn :)

  • Why do most good films get limited releases?! -_-

  • @ShipperWar I feel you. I don't get to see The Artist or A Dangerous Method for now :(

  • @MrSratticusFinch Fo real. I only had 1 chance to see The Artist and I missed out on it due to a misunderstanding. Still bitter about that, since I really wanna see that one!

  • This cast is amazing! I haven't even seen a trailer or anything for this one yet, which is why your reviews are so helpful! You're on top of it!

  • The last 5 or 6 reviews you've said they were some of the best of the year. I think this year is pretty DAMN good! 2011 and 2008 are currently my favorite current years of cinema!

  • YAY!!!!! I'm so looking fwd to this movie, even more now. I'm also lookin fwd to your year's best films list. You've said "this is one of the best films of the year" about many recent films. Have you seen Shame yet?

  • The world honestly needs more movies like "12 Angry Men". Last year, "The Social Network" turned out to be my favorite movie. I just screened "Carnage" and "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" recently, and the films really bring back memories of the golden age of cinema.

  • @CuriousGeorgeMonkey9 While I agree with you,Its not an easy task.

  • @almoztahbeast23 Indeed.

  • I loved the movie so much! Did not expect such an amazing film!!! Great review man! So happy you liked it as well!

  • Yay he looks like Macca again.

  • Great review, I'll DEFINITELY check this one out. Now I'mma schleep. Okbuhbye..Zzzzzz

  • For some reason it didn't look all that good on the trailer... but your review has convinced me to see it.

  • @Duk31sTh3M4n he also is a holocaust survivor and his wife was murdered by cultist. Bit of an interesting fellow.

  • @kronolisk so that makes it ok?

  • Jeremy Jahns and Chris Stuckmann are my two favorite YouReviewers. Seriously, you guys deserve about five million more subscribers. Each. Great review as always.

  • Damn. This is going to be one hell of a Best Films of the Year video.

  • man uve been likin a lot of movies lately

  • I'm glad to hear its great. I saw the trailer and thought it had potential, but thought the trailer was bad

  • Wait a min. Isn't he the pedo rapist director?

  • @Duk31sTh3M4n Yep.

  • yes!!! new upload :D

  • Nice "Ellen" haircut.

  • Have you seen Tom's review?

  • great review man i always enjoy ur reviews no matter what the film is.

  • @WHATPISSESMEOFF710 Thank you. But I seriously don't think enough of my subscribers know how much clicking 'like' actually helps. Please do people! I got sniveling idiots who like to dislike my reviews for no reason.

  • @ChrisStuckmann Dude, you never fail to entertain. I am really looking foward to the rest of this month for movies, I'm pumped. Hey I know you are looking foward to The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, well I saw it, and it was AMAZERING. Your going to love it, best thriller since Shutter Island, no joke.

  • @MegaMovieMind What if one was not a fan of Shutter Island? Would it still be that amazing? Because I'm super excited for it :3

  • @thefrickenfilmcritic Yes you would.

    Why is that.

Nice of you to ask, it has diologue as good as any other Fincher movie. It is gritty like any other Fincher film. I know that you love Drive which was my favorite movie of the year until this. Don't worry this movie is not like Shutter Island, its a mystery but, I was just saying that because I really loved Shutter Island and this is the best thriller since then. Its deffinetly better than Shitter Island.

  • @MegaMovieMind I didn't even notice I typed Shitter Island

  • reilly, foster, waltz and winslet directed by roman polanski! the screen will EXPLODE with awesomeness

  • I donno... should I watch it?

  • I loved it too! It's a great film

  • Your hair looks different.....
