This “Hot Potato” song (from LazyBoy posted by user AlbinoBlackSheep) advancing to cold spaghetti & mashed banana made me think of my time as an elementary school student in the 1970s and 80s. Specifically, the school cafeteria. I absolutely remember pizza and spaghetti being most popular for the kids. Since they loved dancing too, the rhythmic tune would have had them dancing and milling about to nobody's surprise. Why didn’t the song menu include jerk chicken or some other crafty island dish?
