The trailer is better than the film. SNAKE is better than both films. Prefer LA over NY (AND I'M FROM NY!). At least Carpenter is having a little fun with the idea. Waiting for ESCAPE FROM EARTH. He is discovered after another ice age. Becomes a cyborg. Snake leads rebels to Mars in the third act. Make it a WILD WEST confrontation at the end. Nobody can say that both Escape movies aren't badass! Kurt Russell plays the best performance in both movies,to me E.F.N.Y. seems more dystopian and colonized than E.F.L.A. because in los angeles, the people have more rugged and wasteland clothing compared to the rags and regular clothes people in Manhattan prison wear, plus the people in Manhattan are completely isolated and still live in John Carpenter's 1981 depiction of new york city stuck in his vision of 1988 looping over.. nine years now

lol, no furreal, 'solid snake' was (slightly) inspired by snake plisken, basicly only in name and his american voice. His name being plisken in mgs2 and 'naked snake's' eye patch were basically tributes to this fact... but otherwise, as far as i can tell, those are the only similarities. I love this movie but think that the storyline could have been more original. They copied 80% from original Escape From New York. For example Snake is given a mission in LA which has been turned into a prison just like in the original, he`s injected with something that will kill him if he tries to abscond just like in the original, he faces conflict in an arena just like...
