Every time I attempt to burn an audio disc, it says "you've inserted a blank CD" even after I've burned it.

i successfully burned apple lossless files to CD using iTunes, but when i put it into a music cd player, it wouldn't play. How come??

does the burning process convert apple lossless into WAV?

@mozartman2000 Are you using CD-RW? If so try CD-R. CD-RW is not accepted by all cd players. You can learn more about this by watching my tutorial at iTunes changed their system, watch the tutorial for the new version at youtube.com/watch?v=HlXNaySHaN­E . If you are using CD-R and it still doesn’t work plz send me a PM so i can try to find a solution to the problem.

I was excited to do this however i was very dissapointed cuz everytime i tried dragging the song selection(s) to the playlist it wouldnt drop them, the "ghostbuster sign" comes out!! CAN SOMEONE HELP?????

ahh Data DVDs are for computers and will not always work on normal CD players like in your car so if it gives you a choice between Data DVD and something else click that something else XD

how can i burn songs to a disk even if it already has songs on it??

Normally, you won't be able to. In order for an audio disc to be played, it has to be finalized, which means that the disc is "closed" and nothing more can be written to it.

You might want to check into CD-RWs, though. They can be erased any number of times and re-written. Do keep in mind, though, that some cars and stereos won't read them,

thanks a lot - this was loads helpful. - this might seem like a stupid quesion but can you use one of thoses Cd-R things so it will play in the car or on a cd player - sorry i'm just not very good with this sort of stuff.

Of course! There are two types of CD - "data" and "audio". Data CDs hold files. For example, you could put a lot of MP3 files on a data CD, then burn it, but your car won't be able to play it. If you burn an audio CD, it can only hold music files (and holds less than a data CD), but you can play it in virtually any CD player (cars, stereos, etc)

Wow, thanks! I just wasted 6 CDr's using Toast (out of habit). Toast couldn't translate audio ripped from a DVD, it was all distorted. And iTunes did it really fast and it sounds great. Bye, bye Roxio!
