  • @lol7497 I think that the seat only moves in the gl550

  • I have a 2012 Mercedes GL450. When I fold the 2nd row seat up so I can access to the 3rd row, the front seat doesn't move up. Does anyone know how to fix that?

  • Can't wait for the front seat to move forward first before you put down the second seat can you? I hope you didn't tear the fishnet seat pocket. That will make me cringe on a expensive SUV.

  • nice review man....keep the gj going :-)

  • the gl is the most comfortable of all mercedes

  • good car but i think GMC DENALI still bigger.

  • GMC denali is just an over priced chevy

  • @CorpLucen probably you don't know the differences between them! if you don't know they use more expensive material for the interior! the denali seats are 100% pure leather, not a cheap vinyl like tahoe!

  • @jetpack1986 And what? Chevy is a cheap truck so the price is an advantage. Why do wasting pure leather affecting the good price? Yopu may put this leather on Aveo or Yugo and it won't make them much better vehicles. Leave luxury features to luxury vehicles.

  • actually the cubic feet is a lot bigger than any of the lexus' cars

  • the previous ml have optional 7 seats

  • Yeah my father owns a Navigator and he is the first owner and has owned it for 6 years now... it has never broke down and has never given us problems. The only thing we had to get were new tires just THIS year switching from factory tires and we haven't even changed the brakes, oxygen sensors, or anything. Everything is in top shape and we have never experienced a single mechanical problem and it's build pretty tough. My father is buying a GL450 or an Audi Q7 soon, but were keeping the Navigator

  • The GL-Class copied the Lincoln Navigator in the power folding third row seats. Also, the Lincoln Navigator has much more leg room in the second and third row. Furthermore, all second row seats in the Lincoln Navigator tumble forward. I think the GL is a very good and classy SUV, but the Lincoln Navigator provides all classy features of the GL and more.

  • just coz it folds doesnt mean mercedes copied and lincoln navigator will easily break down GL class is tonnes better

  • the gl class is alot more unrelible then a navigator, check the reliblity reports

  • No arguments there, just know that "less reliable" and "unreliable" are two different things.

  • That's a good point. Reliability across the board is so good that less reliable is still pretty damn reliable these days.

  • ALOT of SUVs have power folding third row seats

  • Lincoln copied Mercedes by building cars.

  • mercedes copied the ford by building cars, ford had folding third row seats back in 2003!!!!

  • Ford copied Mercedes by building vehicles with ABS.

  • mercedes copied ford by buiding cars in general!!!

  • Daimler built the first modern car in 1886. Ford didn't then. They created the first mass produced vehicles. A common misconception.

  • well mercedes was created in the late 1800's. ford came in the early 1900's

  • lincoln is owned by ford

  • I know.

  • The second row seat backs are too low & the headrests too small. It looks like an American car. I prefer traditional Mercedes upright seats w/ sizable headrests. I don't like to see 'bare head' sticking up from behind.

  • Believe it or not buddy...but, this is the way Mercedes makes their vehicles! Lol.. By the way..., "GO AMERICAN BIG THREE"! ;-)

  • How old is that guy? he looks like he's in high school..

  • If he let me drive this car, he could pick my nose.

  • His nostrils scream "Pick me!"

  • i just had to rofl at that.
