  • if you like movies and guns go to imfdb (internet firearms data base) they have almost every movie, tv show listed and what firearms where used in them, plus pics of the guns and movie screen shots in high res and some interesting info and goofs.

  • Oliver Stone and Kubrik both hoolywierd lefties. I like those movies too until I saw Stone talking shit about it. Think about the ending of FMJ. Of all the enemies Kubrik could've put in that building. He sticks a little girl in there. What a dickhead. Wouldn't you rather he stuck a few serious dudes representing the VC? I agree nam wasted too many kids. Should've went to nukes.

  • Hurt locker was made by anti America, libtard scum. Look them up and you'll find out they're going to make a movie about Seal team six killing BL. To be released right before the election for obama. Deleted hurt locker scenes were of them riding through a plo camp and being hostily dealt with. Director actually had an American hummer run through one with an American flag on the thing for that purpose. Scum bag hoolywierd.

  • Keep to gun reviews! not movies. Your not GENE SISKLE :)

  • It's not a movie, but I think Generation Kill is a great series.

  • Agree with The Hurt Locker and Black Hawk Down. Have you seen The Big Red One? I'd put it up against Saving Private Ryan. It was made by Sam Fuller, who was on the beach on D-Day, and is somewhat autobiographical

  • pathfinder

  • Pete, The Hurt Locker is a must see and one of the better war movies around. Also, Black Hawk Down is bad ass

  • Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War that is another great movie. its set in the Korean War im sure you will like it

  • both platoon and spr had the same technical advisor Capt. Dale Dye USMC RET. thats prob why both are so good

  • I love the movies you talk about. so far i liked Rosewood the best.

  • for OIF check out hbos Generation Kill excellent !!!! as real as it gets 7 part mini series it is fantastic

  • I agree with you on Saving Private Ryan, but Band of Brothers was right there. While not technically a "movie" it was an HBO mini-series and deserves mention.

  • Full Metal Jacket is the best.

  • all great movies but wheres blackhawk down?

  • Pete, "Plus, Ben Afleck gives me diarrhea whenever I see him." Epic. Simply epic...

  • Some more good war movies Paths of Glory and The Lost Battalion which took place in ww1 very good films. Oh and for Vietnam Born on the Forth of July was great.

  • If you haven't already seen it The Hunted with Tommy Lee Jones was a good movie. You should check it out if you haven't. Good movie picks i watched saving private ryan othen then i was younger.

  • those are some great movies

  • What about Red Dawn. Not a real military movie, but probably one of the most bad-ass rebel American movies that was based on the Cold War.

  • I think 84c MoPic is the best vietnam war movie

  • Platoon = Brutal but fantastic.

I like Tears of the Sun and Enemy at the Gates as well. I have never seen The Deer Hunter. I will have to rent it tonight.

  • Full metal jacket is the shizzy

  • Blackhawk down, Saving Private Ryan, Deer Hunter, First Blood(If its not counted as a real war movie, replace with Full Metal Jacket), Platoon.

  • whats that war movie with Michael J Fox? I cant think of the title...

  • @cutlerylover casualties of war

  • Platoon great movie Bunny FTW lol

  • I have always thought that We Were Soldiers is one of the most underrated war movies of all time. But on the other hand, Windtalkers was a total letdown.

  • When Trumpets Fade is an awesome old school war movie its up there with full metal jacket i love it.

  • I own all 4 of these. The Deer Hunter is badass.

  • Yes,Ben Aflek was wrong choyce for Pearl Harbor,he sucks, candyarse lookin' guy for sure.Don't like him too.

  • lol does anyone else notice he looks like ron jeremy? lol

  • Comment removed

  • Three Kings deserves an honorable mention for an Iraq war pic...

  • Pete, do you like the movie Lord of war?

  • Doesn't anyone like Kelly's Heroes? Clint Eastwood, Telly Savalas, Don Rickles, Carrol O'conner and Donald sutherland.

  • i recommend the german made movie "stalingrad" .also downfall is a good one but get the extended version because it makes more sense.also get the versions with the subs not the stupid dubbed one's

wonderfull movies and from a different school

  • the movie DH is the movie that STICK TO

    MY GRAYMATTER THE MOST !!

makes you wish you were on the RESCUE

TEAM ABOUT TO BUST A MOTHER

    F'er & make Party hats!

    WOW....what a Rush !!

    RE- load !!

"NEVER FIRED & ONLY DROPPED ONCE""

    HARRY-1962 to 1966 USN QUARTERMASTER

    USS CHICAGO CG11"Plank owner" !!

  • if i had to choose out of those movies from the 5 dollar bin (an officer and a gentleman or wind talkers) id choose wind talkers but id still rather have saving private ryan

  • Best part of Saving Private Ryan was when Barry Pepper took out that German sniper through his own scope. WOW!!! The only one of those movies that I don't own is Deer Hunter.

  • Deer Hunter was too long...

  • damn in my video I put Uncommon Valor in my video.

  • i really like platoon oliver stones personal story of him being an infantryman in the 25th infantry division US Army worst war movie ever the hurt locker biggest crock of shit ever

  • is that you john wayne? is this me?

  • is that you john wayne? is this me?

  • Looks like Pete's got jungle fever :P

  • I like Saving Private Ryan because of the attention to detail. The best movies are the ones that have attention to detail.

  • No Rambo?

  • Deer Hunter is fucking epic !! I think most of those movies we all love.. Saving Private Ryan I'm sure has to be like most of if not all of our top 3 fav war movies, it's just soo realistic and the cinematography is amazing !!

  • Hey Mr. Cannella, do u think u can talk bout sum cop movies u like?

  • @EdwinYee1 Brooklyn finest!! excellent cop movie!

  • @theARMORYchannel Check out We Own the Night for a great cop movie. Its not Dirty Harry, but it gets the job done.

  • @theARMORYchannel Watch US Soldiers a Day in Iraq. Best damn movie ever in the military themed area. Real story too. You can watch it in parts here on youtube

look up American soldiers A day in iraq Part 1 Good quality. Trust me it's the best of them all.

  • We are soldiers definitely up on my list. Also watched Tears of the Sun last night and it was a good movie. Not the best but up there. Also have Full metal jacket on my list to watch in the coming days

  • I agree... Saving Private Ryan has to be one of the best if not the best ever.

  • I love the movie The Patriot (Revolutionary War) with Mel Gibson. Excellent. Enemy at the Gates was an awesome movie as well. I agree with your picks as well.

  • Hey Pete, youtube call of duty world at war NAM MOD. even if your not into games its pretty cool. Best game ever in my opinion. Your channel is really cool bro. My favorite movie of all time is Rambo 4. Cool vid. Cya.

  • If you haven't already, see Black Hawk Down. EXELLENT movie.

Also, check out The Hurtlocker, good Iraq movie.

  • Sands of Iwo Jima thats a great john wayne and war movie

  • Yeah there were veterans of WW2 that said they had to walk out b/c of the realism of the movie. It was a very well done film. Deer hunter was great as well, but I agree with your pick Saving Private Ryan. Thanks for the entry pete

  • @The45Reason thanks dan

  • It's not a movie but the HBO series "The Pacific" about WWII was epic, best tv war series I've ever seen.

  • Black hawk down is a good 1 too.

  • Hurt Locker was also very good.

  • enemy at the gates, saving private ryan, FMJ.

  • I think We were soldiers is the best vietnam movie overall. I like John Wayne in thge Green Berets because John Wayne was the best soldier actor in my opinion and it made a statement about the war when the war was at its peak.

  • @1039sflem Agreed. Were Were Soldiers was a far better film. I didn't like Platoon because the "good" guys were all the hippie, rope-smoking whiners of the platoon, while the "bad" guys were the professional/career soldiers. Even though I liked his other Vietnam film "Heaven and Earth", Oliver Stone's libtard ass can still suck my Leatherneck Devil Dog balls...and my Dad's (USMC, Purple Heart, Vietnam '67-68) as well.

  • @BushidoDevildog I completely agree, charlie sheen bitched the entire time.

  • HAHAHA Candy ass!!!

  • do you like HAMBURGER HILL?

  • Enemy At The Gates should be thrown in your library

  • @tranceporter09 yes that is a great one

  • hey pete, were you in the military? jw.

  • Check out "Boys in Company C" great Nam movie. Old movie. R. Lee Ermy is the DI in it.

  • Sniper was my favorite and it one of my top movies

  • @seven47katana yea i agree. too bad sniper 2 and 3 SUCK! they really missed the mark on the sequels.

  • Band of Brothers is my favorite even though it is a mini series.

  • Ever seen Kokoda? Excellent ww2 movie about combat in the jungles of new guinea between the Japanese and Australians. Great movie.

  • if u wanna see a fucking good boot camp movie watch tigerland, with colin farrell. its about guys in bootcamp training to go to vietnam

  • @ecollins92 yep, tigerland is one of my favorites too. definitely check that shit out if you haven't seen it, won't be disappointed.

  • @epidemicz now i know at least one person on youtube has seen tht excellent movie

  • my favorite is black hawk down because I really love the "modern" war movies. Although that wasn't a war at all... it was just a conflict. I really liked it because the special effects and it made you feel like you were right there in Somalia next to those guys. Saving private ryan is my second favorite.

  • Agreed Saveing Private Ryan is the best war movie ever. I think the title of the movie is gay. whish they called it something else. sixk of hearing retards calling it saveing ryans privates lol altho that is fucking funny shit tho. ..they should have called O SHIT or something.

  • enemy at the gate is a bad ass sniper movie. check it out if u never seen it................. and Pete stil wondering have u seen the movie the losers??????????? check it out....it may not be an everyday war movie but its good guns...fights...and blowin shit up and its funny....... like the new A team movie.......... its a gotta see

  • Black hawk down is my #1.. Randy Shughart and Gary Gordon R.I.P. Leave no man behind.

  • Full Metal Jacket is one of the best movies that walked the planet. It's helarious. Anything SOG's bound to be good, even their cheap stuff is good quality. Great video.

  • expendables is awesome 2

  • its 4:18pm and im ot sure but i think platoon is on tv. (i live in the smae time zone as you pete)

  • these aren't movies but you should watch band of brothers and the pacific good mini series

  • The 'Boys in Company C' is a great war movie. Check it out not many people have seen it. It was most likely R. Lee Ermy's first acting role. He plays a drill sargent in this movie also.

  • @abstech1 He played a U.S. Marine Drill Instructor (in other words...himself!), not a Drill Sergeant (US Army).

  • @BushidoDevildog Gotcha..the movie is still a good watch.

  • All great picks.

  • i watched tears of the sun yesterday because you showed it on one of your videos, i liked it keep talking about movies please, i think i like the same kind of videos as you do

  • Got to agree with you on Pearl Harbor. Dear Hunter is by far my favorite war movie

  • Never seen Platoon or Deer Hunter. I like SPR, but I prefer Band of Brothers. Everybody says the FMJ was horrible after the first twenty minutes. I don't feel it was that bad. I guess that's because I was watching more for Adam Baldwin then the story. I'm a Firefly fanatic, so anything he's in is automatically awesome, lol.

  • Great video. I agree on Saving Private Ryan being the best war movie.

  • Check out Kelly's Hero's.

  • I also love the Vietnam era. That was the SEALs first war and I also know ex- Navy SEAL from Vietnam and also a EX-SOG operator from vietnam. Can't get enough. If you haven't checked out SOG, do it now, John plaster is the author

  • Full Metal Jacket first 25mins are brilliant.... Rest of the film blows... Private Joker....pussy

Private Joker: Are those... live rounds?

Private Gomer Pyle: Seven-six-two millimeter. Full metal jacket......

  • Pete, Love those movies some good picks. I especially like R. Lee Ermy in FMJ. He does a great job. I saw him in person in Charlotte at the NRA convention. People were in a long line to have their picture made with him. The "gunny" is showing his age, time gets by too fast.

  • Agreed on SPR. The best "modern" war movie is Hurt Locker followed by Blackhawk Down. Movies like Jarhead totally missed the mark IMHO.

  • My favorite Vietnam War movie was The Siege of Firebase Gloria. It is one of R. Lee Ermy's earlier films. The reason why I loved it, is that it isn't one of those whiny, "why are we here" movies. It is non-stop action, and the Americans beat the SHIT out of the NVA. It moved me because it showed our successes, professionalism, and concentration of firepower. How superior our soldiers, weapons, and training were. Yeah, it was a feel good movie!

  • Like your picks but i would have to go with platoon

  • My favorite war movie is Gettysburg.

  • Full Metal Jacket gotta be the best. Was the boot camp your son went through the same as the movie? Nice video.

  • great video pete

  • great vid Pete

  • I have to agree with you on Saving Private Ryan as the most realistic war movie ever made. Second mention would have to be the 2 movies by Clint Eastwood: Letters from Iwo Jima and Flags of our Fathers.

  • "Casualties of War" was on tv last week and it was pretty good.

  • Love your choices, we have the same favorites!

  • totally agree with you pete, the movie with ben affleck is "The Town"

  • Platoon all the way man!

  • band of brothers its a ww2 hbo seres with the realism of saving privare ryan and its based on true events ant real people who they use to introduce and they follow them throught there deployment its a awesome movie one of my favorites

  • Another fun fact for you. =]

In Saving Private Ryan, they used similar film stock and film speed settings used by cameramen in Vietnam to achieve that raw glitchy effect on some scenes.

  • hey man, how do you like the browning hi-power compared to the 1911 ?

  • Comment removed

  • Movie trivia for ya. =]

Kevin Costner was the first choice for the role of Chris in Platoon but he turned it down due to his dad serving in Vietnam.

  • Hey man,

You should check out a movie called "The Beast" Its really good. Its a movie about The Russians in Afghanistan.

Jason Patrick stars in it and its from the 80's really gritty shit.

Its really good cuz theyre a Russian tank crew being chased by the Mujahadeen in the desert. Those Russians were brutal. Theres a scene where they capture an Afghani and make him lay in from of a tank tread and run him over!

He's just a pile of goo afterward.

Get it, i guarantee you'll like it.

  • Don't you always have at least 1 gun in your videos to make them tactical?

  • Deniro can make ALMOST anything great.... very good choices....

  • Like your comment on the Vietnam war. My father died there. The Deer Hunter and Platoon are my favorites. Mao!

    Anybody remember Guns of Navarone?

  • Full Metal Jacket

    PT 109

    Hamberger Hill

    all good movies imo

  • tigerland is a good boot camp movie aswell

  • you should get netflix pete it fuking rocks dude i got it i watch at least 25 movies a week and they got some good shit

  • Great movies but you forgot Tropic Thunder lol!!!!

  • you forgotte band of brothers and the pacific =P

  • what about Tears of the Sun?

  • @jonathanhieftje or Blackhawk Down?

  • hey pete do you watch foreign movies? You should check out "silmido" its a korean movie but has english subtitles. its based on a true story of 1968 korean republic army plans a assassination on kim il sung. Pretty much they take bunch of criminals from prison and trained them. The rambo series and chuck norris missing in action are good movies as well. But i got to check out deer hunter and full metal jacket. Platoon and saving private ryan are one of the best war movies, goot choices.

  • I have Full metal jacket downloaded on my computer I gotta watch it.I said I would 2 months ago guess im too lazy to watch a damn movie. And heartbreak ridge is a Clint eastwood movie right?

  • All real good movies, although I haven't watched Saving Private Ryan. I can't really relate to WWII. However, ya gotta include Apocolypse Now, I've watched it a dozen times. Some of the gi's and their reactions to different situations is spot on. When they got to the bridge, the heat, the gooks on the loud speakers, the gi's interacting with Sheen, it's just so damn typical and funny, imo. Also when they search the small boat and shoot everyone (over the puppy), just so damn typical imo :)

  • All Academy award winners,Three out of four Best Picture oscar winners.

  • Saving private ryan is my fav.

  • Saving Private Ryan was awesome. If you haven't seen Band of Brother or The Pacific, they are TV shows on HBO that hanks and Spielberg did, and they are even better.
