  • I am putting a VM34 on a DBD34....what jet/needle/slide did you use if you dont mind telling..and what size VM is on yours??

  • A side stand on a Goldie, I must lie down !

Funny carb and the black taped headlight !

    I'm going to faint !

But sounds so very nice and is so atmospheric !!!!

  • Gold Star....what a bike...it brings tears to my eyes......

  • Do you still have the original GP carb? I guess the Mikuni is more practical though. Sounds like you are running the original RRT2 box with the high 1st gear. I can remember a guy trying to bump start one of these in 1963 in the main street of Newquay in Cornwall where I lived, I don't know if he started it because I lost sight of him! These were the bikes we all aspired to but they were bloody expensive.

  • great vid, nothing but nothing sounded and rode like a goldie!! the compression could break your leg, loved mine to bits, memories......

  • English bikes are the best ever

  • "Goldie" perfection...awesome bike;)

  • Thats a great sounding and looking bike... Classic !!!

  • Makes me fell special (needs!) whenever I ride it :-) Anth.

  • It´s the most beatiful machine i had seen; congratulations!.

  • Thanks very much, the Goldie is an icon of the period :-) Cheeers, Anth.

  • Erotic presentation. Do you folks "Story Board" your clips beforehand or are they thought out entirely during the editing process?

  • All the shots are worked out first... makes the editing a lot easier, but... still took 7 hours to make this vid :-) Cheeers, Anth.

  • Fantastic sound.

  • Cheers, it's pretty loud fora standard pipe :-) Anth.

  • This makes me sick with envy.

  • I'm soooo lucky having the Goldie :-) Cheers, Anth.

  • That's good editing software! Made it look like it started on the first kick! (wink)

  • With that Mikuni carb it does... and it ticks over!! Best 200 quid I've spent. Cheeers, Anth :-)

  • schööööön ! :-))

    Hans

  • Too right!!! Cheers, Anth :-)

  • Santa was going to give you the Goldie for Christmas but apparently you hadn't been good enough lol :-) Anth.

  • @oh well i will try harder this year.828cc

  • That's what Santa likes to hear :-)

  • Nice video. Loved the bike and the sound. You only have cool bikes don't you? Cool is the way to go!

  • You can't beat coool bikes!! Just sorted out doing a vid with a MV 750 America - looking forward to that one :-) Cheeers, Anth.

  • Nice one Anth! I assume that was the choke you were adjusting, has she got manual advance & retard too? Also, is that a Davida face mask? Mine doesn't fit very well, perhaps it's my big nose!! Thanks again, fantastic sound, love it!

  • That's the advance/retard I'm adjusting, really important as these fire at 40 degrees before top so give you a hell of a kick if you don't retard them. It's a Davida helmet and mask - it's like a little leather jacket for your face :-) Anth.

  • I always love the sound of these Bikes!cheers!

  • You'll like the next vid then... both Hurricanes being abused by Steve & me :-) Anth

  • That's what i love about old classic's you have to ride them. New bike's are flick of the button and off. But do have their use's :-) Car'nt beat the sound of a Goldie Though

  • I wasn't very pleased with the Goldie when it broke my ankle!! I like all bikes from my ES2 to the RSV, they've all got their place :-) Cheeers, Anth.

  • I Agree. Bike's i use in winter differ from summer. And they've all got their own use . Cheer's

  • such a great sound

  • Thump thump twitter :-) Anth.

  • And no wind noise....Looks good :)

  • All thanks to my dead kitten!! Cheeeeeers, Anth :-)
