  • Not every fan was a dummy. They would use this for wide shots with a few hundred fans spread out among them and then move real fans into position for specific closer shots. I was part of the crowd for the movie for the part that was shot in Midland TX. Decent pay for a short time spent if you ever get a chance to get in one. I think it was 150 bucks for about 3-4 hours....but it was indeed awfully boring since you just sit there most the time waiting for them to sort out the actors.

  • They should've just used members of Congress as props.

  • if evry 1 was dummmies

how did they show the crowd cheering??

  • I'm just waiting for that afro Truth commercial guy to pop up and tell us how the dummies represent the amount of people that die from smoking every year by referencing it to how tobacco companies say smoking is no more dangerous than playing football...whthefxupwitdat?!

  • scary

  • What's with the Pan Am and Gulf billboards is this a period piece?

  • lol, yup yankee fans.

  • Yup....I knew it......YANKEES FANS!!!!

  • thats creepy as all hell. i heard at night they come to life and dance dance dance!

  • Hoyl carp, is that really cheaper than hiring extras...?

  • Hahaha, nm -- that's what I get for commenting before I see the end of the video... and that the entire stadium is FULL...

  • it is cheaper. the dummies don't get overtime, we didn't have to feed them, and they didn't steal the snacks.

  • Too true. All the same, I don't envy the people who have to set them all up (or those who have to buy all those clothes... oh man).
