My mother worked nights for 15 years paying bills and my father worked during the day to ensure that I got an education (BSEE's aren't cheap). When I turned 16 my mother worked days because I knew how to take care of myself. Way to go, placing EVERY woman in that category. Although I do believe that most of this liberation crap is liberal propaganda, but coming from a conservative household I shouldn't know that...

@kja427 A few reasons. One, it was discouraged. And if they managed to pull anything together, no one took it seriously. If they WERE picked up, they ended up using sex to sell it anyway. Today, anyone can produce and promote their own music with the internet & macs. Sisters CAN do it for themselves. I really hope we start seeing more of it. And actually, I see it as more of an honor (as a female musician) to be in a group with BOTH genders, showing we can play with ANYONE...not just eachother.
