@AbstractNotions Yes this is a nice song...my dog "Little Max" died just 2 weeks ago tonight , this reminds me of happier times. Thanks for watching, appreciate it.
This is another one out of the Jason Waldron book--the one you said you lent out but never got back. Maybe it was "payback" for never returning the "Chet" book--ha ha. Thanks Paul.
Thanks Dale. No on the "Kentuckian" part but I have a friend who is and I've played this song a time or two for him. He enjoys it. I meant to post this during the running of the Kentucky Derby but I could find my camera at the time and then the race was over. I forget, was it the "Derby" the horse broke it's ankle and had to be put down on the race track or maybe it was the "Belmont". "Sad" race day. I know a much "trickier" version of this song, needs more practice--maybe next "Derby".
That's beautiful. Probably one of the best acoustic versions of that song!

This is one of the best acoustic versions I've heard of this song! And I say that as a proud Kentuckian! I'm workin on this for the harmonica myself.

Thanks a lot! I use to play it slower, more sad, but a little faster makes it a little more "happier". Happy New Year!

Nice one Van.
I think I have this lurking in an old Chet Atkins Guitar Method book I forgot to return to the lending library many, many years ago.
Keep it quiet though!!

Paul
