I miss mine so much. I've had a female and a male. They're so interesting in that they don't bark at an intruder, but if they sense danger they will grab with their immense jaws and won't let go! They do drool, but not like in Turner and Hooch where they put egg whites in their mouths to make that awful mess. But you must be careful if they get anesthesia it can kill them if it's not human grade and VERY little!

Outstanding dogues!!!!! My bitch is 18mnths now and my best friend,as for the breed they are awesome mine is so docile its unreal however when she was called on a few months ago at the age of 13 months she saved my wife from being mugged!!!!
And the mugger was caught due to her holding on till the police arrived he needed 18 stiches in his arm and suffered a fracture due to the bite force!!!!

Thanks for sharing! My male dogue is at my feet, snoring. My female dogue is across the room snoring. These are the most wonderful dogs in the world. (And they think they're tiny little lap dogs.) Our male is so docile, so we were quite surprised by our female's exhuberant personality! They complement each other well. I treasure each day with them, just as I know other dogue owners do. :-)

Mines had just turned 2 last may. Mines is friendly with other dogs. For some reason mines is very picky with strangers. There was this weird man who had lived next door to me at my last apartment. He seems like a very nice guy. When he would walk by my door my mastiff would growl very aggressively towards him every time. One day I had decided to look around on line at my local sheriff department web page for no reason at all. Then I had seen his mug listed as a child molester. HOLY SHIT!

My dog died when i was out walking with her, she just suddenly died of a heartattack, and she was only 2 years old, i think she had heartproblems. It was realy scary, I'm just 13 yrs old and i was all alone when she died :(

No they do not get as big...but very massive! They are not tall dogs, but the muscles are are impressive, the puppy you see on the video "Bruno" his dad is 170lbs, and I will never have another breed in my life. I had other breeds before and Bordeaux are by far the best in every aspect! But that's me! Thanks.

they looked like my dogs but mine are so big now ;] when they were puppies i used to let them sit on my knee now they are 1 and 1 and 4 months and they still try and jump up on my knee O.o
