And they've been picking her bones dry for TWO DECADES! When she dies, they'll be totally lost. Totally lost. Or maybe they'll just look around for somebody else's old mother to rip off. Marie has a jump ahead of Beth there. Marie works under the table in New Diana as a maid in old people's homes. Maybe that's where she gets all the prescription drugs that she sells Beth (from the medicine cabinets of her old clients).
