How can the cops help you if you're being assaulted? They are INVESTIGATORS not protectors, they cannot possibly be there on the scene of the crime. Nothing wrong with these cops. They answered questions by their employers (the people) and they were polite and forthright even though the people talking to them were not always very respectful. The police offered their names and their contact information. They were not hiding in the slightest. This is all we can ask of our public servants. I'm with the police on this one.

I was illegally arrested by Denver Police dept for protecting my property, in my house, I used a shotgun to detain some punks stealing my car, they arrested me for Felony menacing with a deadly weapon in my own home, needless to say a federal court did not quite see it that way, Denver paid me $88,000.00 plus legal fees, record cleared,3 pigs suspended for 10 days, 1 pig indicted for constitutional violations, fuck them they need to learn there job or get another one..

Nothing wrong with these cops. They answered questions by their employers (the people) and they were polite and forthright even though the people talking to them were not always very respectful. The police offered their names and their contact information. They were not hiding in the slightest. This is all we can ask of our public servants. I'm with the police on this one.

Ok I respect Copwatch but c'mon if the cops are behaving and doing their jobs leave them to their work. Do not harass the guys. I can see why some cops get nervous in these spots if you look back you had 4 or 5 people suddenly around them all asking for ID and all that and I would be nervous as hell too.
Most cops know they are being judged by what their fellow cops do, and most cops know some people will kill them for just having a badge so yeah leave the good ones alone.

Plus, they aren't smart enough to answer those questions, look up the standards on being a police officer, they can't be too smart because they'll figure out all the dirt in the police force and possibly get killed by other cops who'll say it was a "line of duty" death. Those same police officers were calling, following, and showing up at the houses of my families witnessess, and we were told on several occasions that they were ordered to drop the case and not show up to court or else. So, is this standard proceedure as well? Are "investigators" supposed to tail witnesses and harass them over the phone and watch there homes? Arent they supposed to be investigating the district 2 DPD? Get your facts right.

Listen, that was my uncle they beat into a coma. My family mourned as he struggled to recovery. My uncle is not and was not on crack at that time. He was arguing on the phone w/ his wife, the cops just found a black man alone in the dark and was beat for who he was. I was illegally arrested by Denver Police dept for protecting my property, in my house, I used a shotgun to detain some punks stealing my car, they arrested me for Felony menacing with a deadly weapon in my own home, needless to say a federal court did not quite see it that way, Denver paid me $88,000.00 plus legal fees, record cleared,3 pigs suspended for 10 days, 1 pig indicted for constitutional violations, fuck them they need to learn there job or get another one..
