So true... I have friends living out there and thankfully they got out with their lives but there entire property got burnt... her property is about 10 acres of land so you can imagine how devastating it is for her. right now they need cash... they need the cash to provide the bare necessities for the people who have lost everything. they need the cash to start the rebuilding process as soon as possible and they need to know that there are people who care... please donate!!
Me, my mum and my older brother are donating blood tomorrow, 11th of February, my younger sister would but she is too young and my dad will probably donate some blood soon as well. My whole family will be donating money pretty soon to.
i live around 30km away from the churchill fires and thank god we only got a bit of ash and a few burnt leaves, tons of smoke inside and outside out house, and black rain.
2 of my friends lost their lives and 5 people lost their houses.
ON THIS FRIDAY THE 13TH OF FEB, COLES SUPERMARKETS ARE GIVING ALL THE PROCEDES OF THE DAY DIRECTLY TO THE BUSHFIRE APPEAL.
PLEASE GO SHOPPING ON FRIDAY AT YOUR NEAREST COLES SUPERMARKET. THANKYOU!
What kind of sick mind would purposefully start a fire, without ever thinking about the harm and destruction it will bring.
I hope you'll be safe yourself during the further developments of this catastrophe and I will definately consider donating some money to the red cross.
I found out about the fires on the news this morning, and I wondered about how it affected you. Glad to hear you are ok. I heard the death toll is likely to rise once a closer search of the devastated areas occur.

I decided the other day to sell all my twilight books, and donate the profits to the bushfire appeal.
It's so sad what happened, and is still happening. such a tragedy.
