Meg White is actually the best drummer I've seen in a long time. She doesn't overpower the performance, she never overshadows Jack, and she has an almost telepathic ability to follow his cues no matter where he goes with an improvised riff. Going off on ten minute solos and overpowering the vocals and guitars does not make a "good" drummer, in my book.

I can't stand people who knock Meg's drumming. They just don't get it. However, I do think if there is one drummer in history I would replace Meg with it would be Keith Moon circa 1969/1971 era. A young Keith Moon and Jack White would probably be the most explosive team in rock history.

Hell, he even extends Moby dick by playing the drums with his hands. Jack plays most everything the same too. He simply changes the way the distortion sounds. If you noticed, he played these the same as he did on the album with more distortion. Its the same exact chords and riffs. Not sure what your getting at there. Moon was outstanding too though.
