@Shyster404 its to do with programming in BASIC on a BBC computer. It doesn't crash, it repeats the words.

So the first instruction makes the computer print "Look around you", then the second instruction tells it to go back to the first instruction. So it keeps going round and printing the same thing on the screen.

Like for example, they can set their calculator to: stun, latin, and history. When they are showing you the list of what word corresponds to what letter, numbers 8 & 9 are classified. Them being wrong was part of the joke.
