Doesn't really matter. Even though they're all reruns now, I'm totally addicted to the show anywy - the one centered out of Washington with Mark Harmon. Didn't get to watch the original airings 'cause ironically I was away and serving in the Navy at the time. Wonder if they realize how well they nailed it with the cast that was put together for that? Awesome. Awesome cast.

Season 5 was better because it had my favorite episode "Chimera" where Gibbs & the team was exploring the ship out in the middle of the ocean discovering a Russian Nuclear warhead while avoiding a Russian assault team.

But I like Season 4's intro becuase Abby was showing that tattoo on her back. SEXY!!!!!! LOL!

I prefer season 4's opening. It has some funny scenes while in season 5's intro, it has a rather calm/melancholy 'atmosphere', at least to me. Call me a weirdo, lol. I love NCIS, though! Definitely my favorite programme!

The opening for season 4 is the best for one reason...at 26 seconds (of this video) it shows the fantastic tattoo on Abby's back. None of the other openings show this. In my opinion, the opening for season 5 tries to include too many clips... and towards the end practically causes an epileptic seizure!

Yes. There is Gibbs in Season 5

The episode is 'Bikini Wax', Season 2, Disc 5, Episode 2. Its when McGee chases a suspect through a car wash, only to find out Gibbs caught him on the other side.
