I've read some of the comments. Can I just say people who live and grew up here(USA) do not care about foreign accents or broken English. They are used to that. Have y'all heard of Ken Watanabe, Marion Cotillard, dang, evem Celine Dion? These are top rated personalities in Hollywood and they all have heavy accents, especially Ken whose recent movie was Inception. The most important thing is people get the gist of what you are saying.

Payo ko lang na sana bagalan lang niya pag-e-English para di nakakain. Huwag niyang gawin masyadong slang ang pagsasalita kasi lumalabas pa rin ang heavy accent niya.

@PromdisaAmerika - i live in toronto and now in upstate new york. canada is still open for new immigrants because it is empty, literally. maraming mga refugees dumadating dito na tatlong english lang ang nalalaman nila pero pinagtitiyagaan naming turuan at intindihin. (bytheway i used to teach english to new immigrants, 1995-1998). bilib na bilib nga sila sa ating mga pinoy, kahit bagong dating lang ang galing galing na daw natin magsalita ng ingles. SO I DONT UNDERSTAND YOUR PROBLEM!
