@DLKayEff i think this tutorial is good enough for a beginner. it's not liek there going to skip straight to part 2 when he clearly states that make sure you've watched part 1. part 1 = basics part 2 = little advanced.
@TheFinalGoose how long do you think the official in-game turorial is? over 1 hour including character specials which are crap and pointless. Actually this tutorial is much more helpful than the in-game one.
@AnonymousBrawler You need to dash before the 5B after the first j.D. If you don't dash far enough, you'll connect with 5B -> 2D, but you'll be too far away to land the 22C.
@laquanthedon look on your keyboard and the numbers correspond with directions...like in a phone.
(123456789 fighting game type" type this into your search bar and go google images. it should be the 9th picture you see. blue arrows and all. hope this clears things up
@platefork The 5D is in parenthesis, meaning it's optional (sort of, depending on the character like you said, but this will most likely not be character specific due to the 6C change in Extend)
Your tags are all too true but I like to mention the corner play from 8:35 and after were definitely useful. I like to apply some of that strategy to my combat. Other parts were known but it's a good reminder of the capabilities.
that was a great tutorial :)
also remember kids, blocking is good, so you can block not one..but two bursts in one match potentially :D

12 mins of combos is a lot to be laying on someone who needs this tutorial

@TheFinalGoose it's only about 8 minutes worth and some are even similar to others
it's honestly not that bad
DLKayEff 5 months ago
@DLKayEff You don't think 8 min is overwhelming for a beginner?
