There's a great story about Bruce and the E Street Band backing Chuck Berry for a show in the early 70s. This was before Bruce was well known at all. During the show Bruce played a lead guitar lick and Chuck walked over to Bruce's amp and unplugged the cable. Chuck turned to Bruce and said "Nobody plays Chuck Berry licks except Chuck Berry". Oh how the tables have turned! Now Chuck begs to jam with THE BOSS!!!!
