  • thats so good

  • As a father,I'm Proud of you too,for keeping communication open.THANKS.

  • i would like to thank someone on here for telling me i could talk to them. i cant remember who but in eigth grade i said i suspect i might be lesbian or bi but was afraid to say so. i think i only spoke to you once after that but now in tenth grade i am openly bi and even though my dad doesnt except it i am happy. thank you so much i truly love you <3

  • @meanpeoplearemeanful....I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!!!!!!....and you can still talk to me any time you'd like!!!!

  • This person is sick and needed help long ago and now advocates this! People like this have no respect for family and they certainly hate God. They will do anything it takes to indoctrinate our children into the sick evil realm of perversion. This is there life, this is there goal.

They could be serving and Worshiping a Holy God instead of doing such sick things we cant even talk about it.

Trust in Jesus, he will help you and heal you of anything.Yes he will out of Love for you.

    Jesus is Lord

  • @ighforever ...WOW...I'm sure God is so very happy with you going around preaching hate, discrimination, and intolerance...what a great servant you are...I'm sure you will be judged when you reach the pearly gates...."Judge not, that you not be Judged" (Matthew 7:1).....

  • @iknowwitchfu When you deny Jesus you know not the Truth, nor can you ever be Saved. Only in Christ Jesus is there Salvation, only in his name can we Trust. On Judging, what in the world are you saying? That no one can call good good and evil evil? Didnt you just Judge on what I said? Didnt you just Judge that I sinned and will be Judged on that before Christ?

Read 1Corinthians chapters 5 and 6. & 1Corinthians 2:15-16. You can also read how Christ COMMANDS US to judge Prophets & false Christs.

  • @ighforever ..what on EARTH makes you think I deny Jesus??..and don't forget James 2:8-9 "If you REALLY fulfill the royal law according to the SCRIPTURE, you will love your neighbor as yourself, but if you show partiality, you commit SIN"..nowhere does it say to love just your STRAIGHT neighbor..I don't see it in James, nor in Leviticus 19:18, nor in Matthew 22:39..and, you're ASSUMING that by my screen name, I don't believe, aren't you?...bad move..

  • @iknowwitchfu Servants and Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ must serve him, Obey him and learn all he has to teach. We cannot go against that. Christ commands many things in the New Testament. Gays are Lost and will stand before Christ Jesus and be damned. They have not repented of sinning, nor have they learned to walk with Christ. They disobey his commands and have denied him as there Salvation.

    continued next post....

  • @iknowwitchfu In the new Testament we are told that there are Priests who KNOW that Jesus is Messiah yet deny him. John 12:42-43

Romans Chapters 1 and 2 are a good read on this.

Here is a great snipet of Romans Chapter 2:

Romans 2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh

29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

  • @ighforever Ok...now you've pissed me off...GO Bloomberg!!..Got a daughter??..when I convert one more I get a free toaster!!..*singing* My religion's older than yoooours is!! (by at LEAST 5,000 years!!).."knock knock- Who's there?- Wiccans calling..have you heard the word of the Goddess?"..Smoke Crack and worship Satan!!..(DISCLAIMER: I do NOT do drugs, I am totally against them, and I don't even BELIEVE in Satan, let alone worship him...I just said it to piss you off..) ..continued next post..

  • I'll just say this one more thing...every day when I'M praying..I'll keep you in mind ; ) That the anger and hate in your heart be healed and that you learn to stop using your Bible as a weapon of hate, and learn to use it as it was intended.....and with that, I'm gonna make things soooo easy.....annnnnd, *click*.....BLOCK!!!!!

  • Memories. Love that song too.

  • ive wondered also but the whole im a lesbian thing is not what you would bring out on family game nigh if you get what im saying.

  • oh, you are ABSOLUTELY right..game night is NOT where you want to share.."I'll buy Boardwalk..by the way..I'm gay"..no, that's just not gonna fly....and, to be honest..in my opinion...there really ISN'T a good/easy time to say it..I was 15 when I told my mom, and really..it wasn't my call, she approached me with it...otherwise, it would probably have gone totally differently..but, looking back..I'm glad it went the way it did when I got an email from my younger brother last year around this time

  • yea i think my parents sort of know but to afraid to ask. but you get scared because anytime someone says gay or lesbian in my house its usually an insult or some dumb comment. and u know i try to be on the defensive side without coming out until im ready. but they usually just shrugged if off as confusion or just a phase.

  • my mom had a TOUGH time, blamed a "phase" for 4 years..when my grandma found out...I thought I was in HELL..my dad didn't care, it didn't bother him..and it was my younger brother who supported me..he was 8 at the time..he's 26 now..and, he just came out a year ago..but, it's just him and me now...though, I think mom would have been alright this time around...don't know how dad would have reacted..probably the same way he did w/me...he thought there were bigger things to worry about....

  • yea i understand where your coming from. parents always say they just want you to be happy and then when you tell them they say your going to hell or how are you going to get married or have kids. and im like when that time comes around then ill worry about it. my dad he has always supported me but my mother is a diffrent story. she would probably say that im just doing this to rebel. and its not that being a lesbian is not just about being with the same sex its much more.

  • thank you, people such as yourself make one feel much less alone, I just wish I had the guts to really stand up for myself no matter what.

When I came out to my parents at 22 my mom went and still is in denial, my dad made stupid jokes and send me a letter with pictures of women with longish hair and ...well straight stereotypes really, and he wrote on the pictures "If you'd look more like this you could get a man." I stil despise him for that.

  • Wow, i am soo sorry that happened to you. When the whole family found out about me, it was all about "family rosaries", anointing me with healing oils, praying over my head, masses said in my name.....my name being read along with all those who are sick or dying...I can't tell you how embarassing it is to have everyone in the congregation come up to you after mass and ask you how you're feeling or if you're ok because you're name was read along with all the sick people to pray for...

  • and, let me tell you...there is NOTHING worse than coming home and finding a guy sitting in your living room "visiting" with your grandma..."Hey grandma, who's this??"...G: "Oh, he's just visiting with me"...me: "Great..have fun!"..and I'd walk away...she'd chase after me and ask me to come and sit with them...me: "Why??...he's YOUR company"...so, she'd even bring her friend's grandsons over to try to "lure me out of the sin of homosexuality"....so, RedAlice...you are definitely NOT alone!!!

  • I came out to my Mom and she was really good about it :) My parents are not in the least but closed minded though unless it comes to religion lol

  • This brings back so many memories. I came out to my mom and even my grandma in high school and they were really cool about it. Never had the guts to tell dad, though. I ended up marrying a man, but I'll always be bi.

  • i have wondered but i dont know yet im really confused and havent told anyone

  • hey...well, let me first say that I don't want to push you or make you uncomfortable...but, if you ever want/need to talk to someone...my email box is open 24/7....you're welcome to talk to me anytime you want to!!! -nj

  • thanx a ton its nice to have someone who wants to help

  • @iknowwitchfu um im kinda thinking about coming out to my friend but i dont want her to think i like her (she is truly just my friend) and i dont want things to be akward between us.

  • I came out to my mom... and her response was "OH! When I was with a woman...." to which I interrupted "MOM! Geez...I don't need to know." LOL.

She still thinks it's a phase though.

  • I have family members that still think it's a phase...and it's been 18 years....get a clue, people!!!!

  • I sorta came out to my mother, but she didn't hear me. Hopefully, someday she will.

    Wonderful video, thanks for posting.

  • glad you liked the vid!!! Give mom some time...they always seem to take it hard and denial is what they do best in this situation...she'll hear you one day....give it time!!

  • I will. Thank you.

  • hummm very nice video i like it very much, since i found this video on youtube i went on repeating almost for 10 or 9 times liked it very much song is well suited lovely one can you tell me where can watch this movie or or tv show? thanks to you iknowwitchfu , and i am really impressed to read very personal comments wow. please do let me know about the video or show. please get back to me and thanks a lot for gr8 work.i would love to be your friend, would u mind?

  • Thank you sooo much! As far as watching the movie...It's a "Lifetime" movie...though I haven't seen it on the air in a long, long time!! Or you can always buy it online too...other than that....Idk about watching it...30% of all teen suicides are gay teens that aren't accepted by their parents and friends....I want as many young people to know that they CAN get through it...that's why I shared some personal things about me...if I could get through it..ANYONE can!!

  • what does the 32 in 32 flavors mean? any suggestions?

  • Well, we have a major ice cream chain that offers 31 flavors...now, I'm not sure...but I bet she's kind of using that as the example....

  • i think it means that she cant be stereotyped she is who she is and likes wat she likes even when they contradict each other

  • wat is ur email at da MSN?

  • its not tht personel and i must say no!!! in this arab country u live in there is no gay club, gay groups or gay scools and even if girls are gay they wont dress like studs or kiss ya!! although i have loved one person sooo much but she was straigt!!

I WISH I WAS LOVED BACK lol

  • hey tell me (i knowwitchfu) did u eva love and was tht love back at ya!!!

caz i have a sign at ma forehead tht says straights only i keep likin straight girls!! its not like its easy to find gay girls they dont just walk down streets!

  • yes, I've loved and had the love returned....and gay girls DO just walk down the streets, you just have to know how to find us....and, can I ask you a question...have you ever had a girlfriend?? I know it's personal and you don't have to answer, or if you prefer, you can e-mail me...but, I'm very interested in the answer....it could be insightful to me...

  • Wow. Your 8 year old brother? That's a-m-a-z-i-n-g. I'm with you on the VERY Catholic family, though. The road being rough was mostly internal for me. That, and being terminally attracted to straight girls for like, ever.

  • I'm glad you're still here, then. For different reasons, it was partly Tori Amos that got me through...

  • Ahhhh...Tori....she was my number two...Little Earthquakes...hello, repeat!! And, it was a rough road...our family was VERY Catholic...little bro was an alter boy, parents were Eucharistic ministers, I played trumpet in the choir (NOT my choice..mom's choice...) bible study...Youth Group...Sunday School....family rosaries....so, being gay..not such a good thing...but my 8 year old brother was the only one who stood up for me against the family...how cool is that?? What a guy!!

  • Thanks for putting up your thoughts along with the vid. I'm always looking for more les movies, and I love Ani. Also? funny thing about the rainbow Rosaries and your saying your mom was on a mission-- the Rosaries divided by different colored decades are called Missionary Rosaries...

  • yes, though I am Pagan now...I am as Catholic as they come!!!

  • Yes, I'm vividly aware of how that feels!

  • you too, huh? Isn't it fun???? Oh, yes....so fun! I'm just glad I had my younger brother's acceptance and the power of Ani D.'s words to get me through ages 15-19...without those....I really don't know if I'd be here now...

  • being gay/lesbian is unfortunately always linked to suffering!

  • not always, check out the 10 min. teaser I have on it and see how it ends!!

  • Well, I said that based on personal experience, but I'd be glad if I was mistaken! And yes, I will watch the teaser!

  • true, I had a difficult time as well...but after about 4 years...things got better for me..

  • Good! I hope things get much better with the passing of time...for you n' for me

  • Well, unfortunately, I lost my mom 4 years ago, but she was totally accepting by then, she had even bought me a rainbow rosary...she was Catholic (I'm Pagan)...but she was so excited that she found a RAINBOW rosary...things usually get better with time..

  • Sorry 4 your loss! but at least you have the confort of knowing she accepted you for who you truly are, that's a great feeling! Things do get better in time!

  • absolutely...I couldn't have asked for a better mom! I know when you're going through the rough part, it sucks...but after, when things get better, and your relationship is even stronger than before...it makes the sucky parts worth it...

  • and not just check out the 10 min. teaser, but listen to the narration on how it ends..

  • I'm glad their getting more things out about being G.L.B.T when I came out my parents kicked me out of the house and changed the locks. Maybe this will help someone. I love Ani Difranco

  • Wow, I'm really sorry that happened to you. I didn't get kicked out, but my mom didn't talk to me for 4 years...it almost made me wish she had just kicked me out...and i LOVE Ani too...I think she would approve of this vid....

  • I love this song too! And it fit sooooo well!! ANI ROCKS! If you haven't heard her, I urge you to check out some of her music, she is AMAZING!!!

  • this was a great movie and one of my very favorite songs

  • why, yes, that is Ellen! She's such a cutie!

*sucker for red-heads!* She filmed this when she was about 19ish...it came out (no pun intended :p ) in 2000 (Lifetime channel, which I usually hate...but) and, like in "Dead Like Me" (which I LOVE!!) she narrates in this movie as well!

    -nj

  • that girl was in the show "dead like me" thats were i saw her in!!!!! she musta made this when she was younger, but she hasnt change.
