It's not a problem, black smoke is caused by too much diesel being injected, the excess burns off in the manifold, turbo, DPF, EGR and CAT - if fitted. This fouls everything up. First get the overfuelling problem sorted, then give it a thrashing when warmed up. Never use injector or fuel line cleaner, all the bits can block your injectors and that is a very expensive repair. Diesels do need a good old clearout from time to time. Accelerate up a hill in a low gear - that will sort it out.
It's not a problem! Driving gently allows soot to build up in the exhaust piping especially the silencer - the turbo reduces exhaust pressure too. Give it a good, hard rev in neutral when some twit tailgates you next.
I love saving it up for 1000km. Turns day into night when it finally is blown out!!
Sounds like a typical Japanese Diesel engine!
