  • You know what I've noticed the Protestant wives of Henry were the most outspoken (Ann B and Catherine P), while the rest of them were meek and submissive, but you know some of that qualitity did save them from their head chopped off.

  • What is the name of the wedding song?

  • I think the fact that it was made in Ireland has affected the way the portray Anne, cromwell and cranmer

  • How?

  • WOW!!!... AWKWARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Something he would not fuck LOL

  • According to contemporary records Henry was nothing but gracious and kind towards Anne and had no clue of his disdain for her until suddenly set aside but was given a generous salary. She was quite content to live out her life as a virgin and the King's sister. They both affirm the marriage was not consummated. Anne went on the become best friends with Princess Mary and converted to Catholicism, died a devout Catholic, outliving Henry and Katherine Parr. Her lack of physical beauty saved her life.

  • Not necessarily. Im starting to notice that Henry was an excellent poltician. I dont think it was her lack of looks that saved Anne. He never killed any of his foreign wives (KoA or AoC). Imagine what would have happened if he did?

  • she was definatly the most luckiest out of the 6

  • @ElizabethIrish - no one knows whether she was indeed ugly...it was more that Henry disguised himself to surprise her when he first met her and all she saw was a fat, drunken lout and swore at him in German. I think his hurt pride, along with her German fashion of clothes which looked heavy put him off. I think her common sense saved her too. She didnt contest Henry's annulment...but is it true she became catholic? I read that she avoided mass during Mary's reign along with Elizabeth...

  • @Snezhinka9 You just may be right about Henry's reaction to Anne. And yes Anne became very close friends with Mary Tudor and converted to Catholicsm and died a devout Catholic.

  • I'm not being rude or anything but shouldn't Henry start getting fatter by now???

  • I know right? He kind of lost it after he killed Anne because that was around the same time that his leg started acting up so that he had to drain it everyday (is that karam?). I think that since it's an English show they want to portray him in a better light.

  • i guess they dont wanna make hi mfat so that they dont lose viewers or somethin like that. but it is true he should be getting fat rite now. i guess all they wanna do is make him look older. and he does look older with the mustache.

  • Well, as history goes, he should be. But this is a show, based on history but not entirely showing it. Henry should be a lot older, for another example.

They do play a little bit with it, they "bulk" JRM up with his costuming, but they go nowhere near as large as he was then.

  • he should weigh 290 buy now at least thats what his amomer and clothing that survived said thats what he should weigh

buy cathrene parr he was 320

  • @TheArtist1508 I also read about that too, but of course this is entertainment and they had to make this an entertainment show, so of course they had to streach the truth out a lote, and yes you are right Henry should start getting fatter, but Showtime would never do that LOL.

  • "I am not well-handled". Gulp.

Crommie should have counted his losses, taken his family and headed for some Protestant duchy.

  • The video is good
