I played this one but on a cartridge that sais "Super Contra 6" and the sprites were like the original contra! I never found it until I realized that is was a pirate version of this one. How many good games did we all know thanks to this nes pirates? like jackie chans on Mario 10 :)

I had a glitch in this game that when i went to the select menu often enough it would mess up the select screen and i would have infinite lives.

the "Bass" line for the last boss' music is kinda the same as Break Down (Stage 7-B) from Manhattan Project...

i would say it's obvious since both are Konami games.

I discovered some kind of cheat when was kid and playing this, when u jump, than press select, and when relase it u jump higher, so there are not any place when u can not jump :D

@papapupunana i used that trick thousands of times! Infact at a point in level 3 where you have to jump via the chains, I used this trick with changing directions becoz I didn't understand that I could jump using chains! Epic game indeed! :D

Whoever green lighted this turd at Konami should have committed Seppuku. As a standalone game it was below average...when they made it a Contra game it dropped to below rat turds. No Aliens, no flying powerups...what were they thinking?
