some of the pictures. like the flowers, etc, are a little happy seeing as this poem was written after the death of edgar allen poe's wife, from the same disease that kiled his mother and foster mother. the music is rather peepy in comparison to the words in the poem, and this poem was written as he was contemplating wheteer life was real, or was even worth it. so yes, i am aware of what this poem is about. it was meant to be a farewell to his departed wife. alot of things were too happy in this.

@NanakoKawaii I suppose that this responce is a bit pointless, given the amount of time that has past. But I feel you may be looking at this from too jaded of a perspective. Not everything needs to be blackness and misery to be dark. It is the sum of the pieces to an individual that cast the mood. So, really, it is only you that can make something dark.

Two people can listen to the same musical piece. It could cause one to smile in quiet joy, and cause the other to weep in deep sorrow. So, really, there is no set way to make a piece "Dark". That's just my opinion, though, and no more correct than your own. *Bows* Be well.
