What a cock. Nakamura talks as if he comes to Gibralter, like, all the time. Although he did play the "best game of the tournament" right? Compare his comments to Bu's. I don't know Bu; he might be a cock too, but at least he can fake like he's humble.
This guy has matured somewhat in the past few years. I am proud that he is a fellow countryman and I hope he can challenge for the FIDE world title soon enough...
what i said is not something to laugh at.. lets wait for this guy to develop all his play.
I also like Vugar Gashimov, unfortunately he was playing at this tourney too, but looks he couldn't play at his best.. otherwise i cannot explain such results.
Magnus is the next Kasparov. 17 and look at what he is doing already, winning tourneys among the top 10 players in the world. Nak has ways to go still and he is also like 4 years older.
Magnues Carlsen 17 - 2765
Teimur Radjabov 21 - 2751
Sergey Karjakin 18 - 2732
Wang Yue 21 - 2689
Hikaru Nakamura 21 - 2686
Wang Hao 19 - 2684
big difference at that level. Blitz? Im not familiar with Magnus's blitz skills.
You made this comment a year ago now so maybe you don't remember, and I'm not critizing it, I'm just wondering how you figure Nakumura to be lazy? doesn't he play on icc allot? and allot in general? like right after he won the last US championship he played anyone that wanted to play him in the lobby of the hotel, blitz games. You mean he doesn't study games?
nakamura has beaten anand, karpov, and all the top players with constantly. he has a winning percentage of carlsen but still, they sponser carlsen because the chess organizations are racist. even though nakamura does better, he still gets unfair treatment. this is just like how alekhine refused capablanca the rematch even though everybody knew capa was better.
is it possible to compare ages and the potential for success? I dont know about that. Like for example, in Bill Paschall's lecture on Leonid Stein's game i saw kinda disagrees with this...Leonid Stein started chess at early 20s and managed to be a master level at age 24 but later on he was able to compete at the top levels against Petrosian, in addition, ppl say that one lacks potential at chess as they age, Anand is quite old now, and he is current WC, thats harder than being a GM for anyone...
@samirhossain there are two important factors. As you age - your knowledge and understanding of chess increases. On the other hand your brain becomes less plastic and your ability to learn and concentrate decreases.
When you look at a rating graph of any chess player in history you will see it increase, peak and then decline. This peak seems to occur around the age of 30.
These are facts that we cannot ignore. You can quote individual exceptions but there will always be reasons for these.
he is a stupid looser in chess........im beter hahaha

We will discuss this when Naka is invited to a 2700+ tourney. Or lets wait for a direct match between them: Nakamura vs Carlsen.
And btw, my favourite players right now are:
Vishy Anand Carlsen Aronian Grischuk Hikaru Nakamura Vugar Gashimov Ni Hua Wang Hao Sergei Rublevsky Le, Quang Liem.

lol you're comparing with inflated scores? how stupid can you get? Nakamura is the most talented person atm, he's just very lazy.
