i was there for this actual show and i still cry as hard as i did then ... when i first heard this my lil boy was just turning one and he 4 now and his dad still not around ....
@babywolfgirl1816 this song is amazing and don't cry because your son doesn't have his daddy around. The profile picture on this page is my daughter and her son who is almost 3 years old now. His dad has never had anything to do with him and I count it as a blessing! Any man who doesn't have anything to do with their own offspring isn't worthy to be in their children's life. God isn't finished yet...there's a Godly man out there who is going to be honored to be your son's daddy! God bless you!
when i heard this song at Ignite youth conference, I could not stop myself crying, it was amazing the way i felt because that song it just got to my soul and revolve me completely...
what is the name of that song?your my son your my daughter and i'm proud to be called your father. i've heard bryn wadell sing it before. was it written by eddie? i love! i go around singing it all the time and people dont reconize it.
This song heals the wounds of a generation of youth without the covering of a father. Thank you for prophesing hope, healing, and identity for the broken and neglected. Fathers are to be a reflection of Christ love. When that doesn't happen we can't properly connect with the Father. Thank you for your transparency...only that which is uncovered can heal.
When i heard this song it brought true forgiveness in my heart to my parents. It touched me and i began to weep and truly forgive. I thank the Lord for awesome influence from Eddie and all the precious ones with him (his ministry) including my fam that just joined the ministry A.J. I love you all from the bottom!!!
a frend shared dis wif me since i asked him about something for fathers day here in NZ wich is in september :) i love it and thank you for the awesome work your doing over there, keep up da great work, Gods blessing upon each and everyone of ya'll :) Jah Bless
That song helped me relize so much. I don't know my earthly father. But after Winterfest in 07 i started learning about my heavenly father. And then this year when Eddie James sang this song. I was so touched. That was an awesome experiance i will never forget.
I was there. I was like, two people from the front of the stage. That was amazing. Not only did I appreciate my Heavenly Father more after this, but I also began to appreciate my Earthly Father more.
I was at this winterfest. I grew up in a family where I have a Godly father and mother but for some reason this song just really ministered to me. This song is soo true for so many people, This generation needs to know That God really does look at us as His son and His daughter and He is so proud of that.
crj, you have the most amazing dad there is to have :) i know what you mean and the loss felt for not having a parental father in your life. i was in the same situation. but God wants to father us. and he wants to BLESS you. not just a little, but EVERY DAY!!! and it is so true. your awesome! thx for the post!
Yea, that was an awesome night. i agree with zach tho about the "You shoulda been there" song was the most moving. that song and Freedom really touched me. very spirit filled.
