ducati has an open clutch so it makes that weird rattling sound.when you own a ducati its an inevidble sound wether it be old or new . the sound is one of those things that grows on you

Wrong! Ducati's have a DRY clutch. Dry because a Ducati is a pure race machine 1st, before anything else ie: streetbike, showbike. That is the clutch plates rattling. A dry clutch takes 10-15 minutes to change vs. 30-35 like in Jap bikes. Not using a clutch cover or a open clutch cover is up to the owner. Ducati corse race teams use a open clutch for easy of access to change the clutch. The clutch will always make that sound even with a closed cover on it. To decrease it, buy a slipper clutch.
