Im sorry.. but I am really getting sick of Joey in this band. Every fucking song, he takes the tempo up at LEAST 15bpm from what it should be. Its so noticeable too, especially if he doesnt click in the song, and it starts with say the guitars, like this one, at a steady beat, and he just rushes it like no other... It is not surprising that people who like QOTSA, don't like Screaming Trees. The kind of music is totally different. That's why people who meet Mark Lanegan for the first time through QOTSA, get surprised when they hear Mark singing with the Trees. Form the one hand you have post-modern reconstruction of punk and psychedelia (Trees) and from the other hand you have QOTSA (power stoner rock).

QOTSA are for sure a great power rock band! I respect them and I follow them BUT, Screaming Trees is something else.They talk to your heart.I admit, you must have the appropriate "taste" to listen to them.What can I say about "Buzz Factory" or about "Invisible Lantern", a pure garage-psychedelic-oblivious-o­riginal music with those lovely characteristic solos of Gary Lee Conner, the ultimate wah (crybaby sound), together with Mark's voice. I wish I could go back in time. I miss Screaming Trees!
