@Wyzzkyd In Spanish, Demonstrative Adjectives can establish a temporal or spatial relationship with the speaker. 1st grade: relatively near --> Este, esta, estos, estas --> THIS/THESE. 2nd grade: close to or far away, often stands on the basis of the other two --> Ese, esa, esos, esas --> THAT/THOSE. 3rd grade: relatively far away from a person who speaks --> Aquel, aquella, aquellos, aquellas --> THAT/THOSE. Oh, and sorry for my poor english.
por lo veo para los que no hablan español tambien es dificil para ellos y yo pensaba que era facil para ellos esque en iglesias this en españo puedes decir este o esta
I just wanted to add the following little rhyme to help english speakers learn spanish. My high school teacher said it once and it works really well. To keep from confusing Esto/Eso and Esta/Esa, always remember "This" and "These" have T's! Got it? This (Esto) and These (Estos) have the letter t in them whereas eso (that) and and esas (those) do not have t's. I hope I explained that well enough, and I hope it helps! :)
@holahellomarhabahi thanks so much for that tip! i have been studying spanish for a long time now but still always trip up on the esto/ eso bit. this rhyme will help me to remember which is which! thank youuuu!! :)
