Is this "over-unity"? This seems like one could put a couple of paralleled batteries in the charge position and fill them before depleting the source battery. Is this an accurate assumption? My main interest is in producing usable light for supplementation in my small greenhouse. Could i use this SEC to light an array of fluoro-tubes while just swapping the source and charge batteries? Would arrays of 1w leds be better or even make a difference?
BudsMoking----This is not about "over-unity". It IS about efficiency of a lighting system. Your idea of using these new efficient high powered leds for light is a good one. As far as using Dr.Stiffler's SEC to charge the batteries ---Well that is a work still in progress. Tune in next year and see where the good Dr. has gone with his invention.
AtvProjects---It is very simple. Two small switching diodes. Each one points in a different direction. Join them at one end. Connect the other ends to a common 3Volt LED.
Lidmotor, Remarkable circuits. You and Dr. Stiffler are poking around in very important areas of Zeropoint energy, radiant energy, whatever you care to call it. I admire your persistent and elegant efforts and clear presentations. Keep up the fine work in 2010. Happy New Year!!
@CosmicGnarler ---I had all the parts already and I understood what he was doing. It was just a case of putting part "A" into part "B" and flip the switch. You just step back then and watch the magic show.
ahh the filter beads I did not have. can you give me the specs on the filter beads? I was able to charge a cap up to 4 V ( 3.5 farad cap ) it ran all night. A very kool thing was I found I could run another sec with one wire to the positive of the second sec. The real test will be how the second battery loads. But I am amazed that the leds light up after the diodes going to second battery. So much for so little input. NICE!
@marthale7 --I got he ferrite beads frrom Allelectronics. Catalogue # FB-73. They are filter beads for broadband frequencies. Five for a buck. Mart you have the absolute perfect setup for charge and load testing this. Doc was serious about getting this charge AV plug done right for this to work.
@GBluer ---- When you start looking at he numbers this REALLY is amazing. I guess the acid test for this would be to turn it and just let it runs until it stops. I would probably swap the batteries once a day. The experiment might take week -- or months???

Nice Setup Lidmotor ! This should be tried on My Ultracaps !! I have two sec 15-1 's so i'll try it !

Gadget---I'll try it also. Mart Hale has already done it and says that it works fine.

Sweet!Real Simple way to use the back flow energy without a direct connection. This is a must try.regards jonny.

Jonny----This also works on your trigger coil circuit.

Very impressive Lidmotor.
The amount of current used for the lights and charge another batter is amazing.

@Lidmotor This could be done with a tiny battery. There may be some magic in the lead acid batteries ( chemical composition ) that may be key.
