  • fucking amazing song, fucking amazing film. french culture is amazing, and full of sense.

    greets from Portugal

  • They wanted to be human, they never got their wish. They killed themselves, they were not human enough and never could be. It does have deep meaning, because it was written and intended to be, and the directors of the film (Daft Punk) want people to interpret it however they like.

  • it reminds of the ladies toilets in a dundee nightclub!!

  • Thomas: *Looks at Guy-Manuel.* We should have bought heatproof masks. I JUST WASTED 500 DOLLARS ON THESE!

  • Why would there be a BATHROOM in a town of ROBOTS?! Or do robots leave little piles of batteries when they go to the bathroom...

  • 2:40 WHY IS THERE FUCKING CARAMEL ON MY FACE!!!!!

  • its interesting cuz its melting even though they're inside...

  • HEY YOU GUYS!!!!

    -sloth

  • i wanted to cry for them...=(

  • Thomas and Guy were trying to forte that people dont like "different", and that it's not necessarily a bad thing. In the movie, they were tests to see how the town would react to two new people that are "human"

  • @googledude23 They were representing Daft Punk in this movie. but the human clay or whatever masks are actually what they are supposed to look like. they decent but theres pictures of them. and they wanted to be human. they grew out being a robot. so they did the clay thing walked into town feeling happy but get attacked them more traveling then the part I could spoil! ;)

  • To be human is to manifest emotion on the outside. They looked very proud walking down the street with faces. But the world would not allow it. In the end, they do the most human thing possible: take their own lives. The fire that stole their humanity is used in the end to end their "non-humanity"...they become human after all. They took control of the flame. The man on fire at the end is a metaphor. What melted his humanity is now the thing to radiate it.

  • kool its daft punk :D

  • this movie is a really sad movie, if you understand it

  • @EvilManProductions

when they made it, they didn't mean for it to be interpreted any way, they said it could be taken as happy or sad, everyone's different.

  • @EvilManProductions WHATS THE MOVIE CALL? I want to see it!

  • @Exogenesix19 The movie is called Electroma. its in the name of the video and shows part of the movie. it is a very sad movie. some people may not get it but I understand it all. like they said they didnt get it but I started explaining it and they just said "were did you get this information?"

  • @Exogenesix19 Electroma

  • @EvilManProductions but there a happy version with daft punk songs

  • I think this says that all people are Robots on the inside, but you'll have to melt?

  • @POLARBEARNOPENGUIN

    flawless

  • looks like they aren't human after all ;(

  • so sad

  • behind the white suits, they had their jackets lol

  • sad movie

  • sounds a lot like Jerry Garcia

  • as defined by urban dictionary.

A 'disco pee' occurs when the bathroom you are using has a faulty light which flashes on and off sporadically whilst you pee.

    e.g.

"I was just in the the bathroom there having a disco pee" "A disco pee?" "Yeah, you know the way the light flashes in there whilst you pee, reminds me of a disco"

  • Im looking so Long Time 4 this Movie can somebody tell where can i get this ???

  • u can find whole thing on youtube. just search electroma

  • hmv!

  • @bo25rastgt its on google video

  • ohh i love this scene!!!

    I love the film E L E C T R O M A !!!!

    <3333

and DAFT PUNK of course too <33

but the end is so cheerless :'((

i´ve loose soo much tears because of the film!!

  • I'm just curious. Are you French?

I love this movie too, it was astounding.

  • this video has a deep inner meaning

    like corn flour...

  • the daft punk guys thomas and guy

  • this is fantastic cinematography! Quite disgusting but not to the point where I could puke. And the delicate music helps the situation.

  • This is the saddest part in the movie in my opinion. I was surprised that this movie was so deep, considering its about robots.

stuff like this really makes you think...

  • what´s the name of this song?

  • Universe

  • "and all the universe cries for your memory, I hate I, oh could you lead my lips to sigh"

    my favorite part

  • @ohadrean I had to say goodbye to my best friend due to her taking her life... This song makes me welt up every single time.

  • So do I ! I had never heard of Electroma ! This is quite overwhelming !

  • So this song is from our national Sébastien Tellier !!

Thank you for the add, now I know something more.

  • I get the video's deeper meaning in all, but that shit freaked me out.

  • so this is from a daft punk movie

    dnt no they did one

  • theyve done two. electroma and interstella 5555

  • a truly moving piece of film looking at this film France, Germany, and Japan are centurys ahead of Hollywood in how the medium of film can be used to convey emotion and portray ideas in an ofen philosophical manner that the UK have done as have some Czech films, but not like the film capital of the world, European films are FABULOUS, ELEGANT, FLAMBOYANT, MARVELLOUS...

PS 1000 thanks for uploading this vid...

  • youre completly right....hollywood films were made for money european films were made for the art of moving pictures itself...

europe is like so much better than the est of the world..

  • zajebiste

  • joder que susto, y despues me doy cuenta de que son los daft punk!, buenisimo.

  • Impacta...

  • This is the same thing with me...instead of robot to human...im human to robot...in the end..the plastic and metal stuff wat i wear is half rusted and scraped...SAD! I WISH I WAS A CYBORG OR A ROBOT!

  • I love the way that they can emply so much emotion with those simple static robot faces... you can see that the silver robot is in total dispair and can't beleve the surgury was a failure... and the the gold robot is just really pissed off...all emplied using body language

  • Agreed, it's amazing. This movie was so emotional, especially for robots standards.

  • whats the name of the song =)?

  • Universe, by Sebastian Tellier =)

  • @Rierufoo

    actually seastians version is diferent

  • One of the best parts in the excellent movie
