  • LOL 2:00 I could do that jump without hurting my self when I was 12... jeeze -_-

  • Dummy got a 1-2-3 count, wtf!?!?! LOL

  • 2:08 - "The dummy's impact generates 18 jeez."

  • is it just me or did she call ryan doyle "ryan dun"?

  • LOVE IT!!!

  • They measure all the stuff when Ryan lands and rolls, the narror goes like: without using any landing technique this force could easily break his legs. Then at 8:29 Daniel just sideflips from the same height

  • @anaikahas Yes, without any technique, but Daniel did use a technique. He bent his legs on impact to absorb the force of landing more efficiently, not to mention that he has trained in this for years and is more adjusted to dealing with landings.

  • @MrYaoiMonster yeah of course daniel is a very skilled traceur, and you could consider that a technique, but it's just that they make a really big deal out of it and later daniel rather casually jumps off of it

  • @anaikahas Likely, they wanted to put emphasis on how paramount the difference would have been with someone else landing (i.e. the dummy). Ive seen what happens in that situation (and it's not pretty), so they actually are pretty justified in what they're saying...

  • 1:00 reminds me of assassins creed

  • hes from Liverpool sounds like it, so used to running from police lmao.

  • These people have got the wrong idea of parkour. If my brother jumped from something 10m high it would kill him. If daniel illabaca jumped from 10m high it would also kill him. Anyway why does ryan doyle need to frontflip inorder to breakfall correctly?

  • Bryan at 2:27?

  • ye well the dumbies falling on his face not his feet ovbiously if daniel or ryan fell on his face it would huirt

  • 2:03 Great Jump !

  • HOLY SHIT, Danny that Cat was insane !!

  • Omg wat was that 38s

  • cant they just test the 19 ft thing by making the platforms really short from the ground?

  • These guys would top most wanted if they were to become criminals! Awesome!

  • cool

  • i can wall run 10ft

  • @mrurbanrun thats easy.

  • Whats the move at 0:59 called? Just a plain gainer?

  • @MINIGIGIBuffon i think its called a butterfly twist

  • @UchihaOdy the one aftter that. Youtube pulls the thing back 2 seconds so it showed 57.

  • @MINIGIGIBuffon Probalby a gainer layout, or gainer flare.

  • i bed ill break a leg doing that

  • Im going to collect both their sperms put them in a monkey and make the ultimate parkour monkey human baby called Raniel Daca. I also shit on kittens to make them tougher

  • That bitch wasnt even looking at him when he jumped

  • the lady got excited when the guy jumped at the beginning

  • Modern Day ninja ? not when it comes to actually life and death fights .

  • they can be in oymplic

  • @harvey2670 parkour isn't a race or competition, so no...

  • bahahaa stupid scientists...

  • lmao i love how they say average human like we are some freak of nature,

  • I'm into parkour and freerunning and _I'm_ in awe at these guys constantly. I can't imagine how much in shock other people must be when they see these amazing people.

  • I've always wanted to try free running. Can't though, knee problems. Gonna have to stick with striking and grappling.

  • jojojojooo u can fly xD pfff amazing *.* aah can u visit my profile to see my tricking montage? :P thaaaaanks!

  • well no shit you're gonna get hurt if you land flat on your freakin face 2:10

  • she was like" no way...what the fuck!!!"

  • @Some1cracker1 Then you got very lucky and should probably avoid doing the same thing again.

  • lol they are like "bandaid stat" i love daniel and Ryan they are bad ass, free running is the greatest thing i ever have done

  • haha so i love this, granted i enjoy my 30 foot drops, no broken bones yet

  • Comment removed

  • 0:51 Freerunners aren't ordinary humans? xD lol.

  • @JXJ1326 ,,,ye its def still awesomely cool

  • awesome

  • @MattEnjoi he really is but why didn't he just f*ckin drop like a normal traceur??

  • LOol at Daniel at 9:43

  • @ReeceRogan

From the capoeira kicks compared to muay thai, wtfzor and shitpiss on a moving platform.

  • Yall didn't see Lateef Crowder about to kill that target at the end though

  • id still rather know MMA

  • The "scientist" is talking like an "enthusiast".

  • So we are or aren't supposed to land how the dummy lands??

  • Goodbye Policeman!

  • @chayson11 well said:)

  • 9 feet onto 2" padded mats.....not really that hard to do tbh

  • @SuperGaizaTutorials Yea I've seen these guys jump from 30 feet into grass

  • @yrt987 i know, these 2 are amazing. im thinking though, ive seen people gainer off of like 20+ feet high bridges onto grass and then ryan just does a webster from 9 feet onto padded mats and that woman thinks there is a fault in her wiring or sum crap........

  • @SuperGaizaTutorialsuuuh.. thats not a webster, a webster is a one front flip

  • @SuperGaizaTutorials thats not a webster, a webster is a one footed front flip

  • @SuperGaizaTutorials more than 9 feet :) he jumps up.

  • @CWSSje good point, but if you are a freerunner you will know that isnt too hard to do. its just that woman who pisses me off :L shes so stupid

  • the people doing the show are forgetting one major thing, these arn't human beings, it's freakin Daniel Ilabaca and Ryan Doyle!!

  • I love how James Lew has this "I didn't know this was even possible" look lol

  • Cop's nightmare to chase of these guys.LOL

  • @chenpod123 but they never would have to.

  • @ktowntraceur why not, your girlfriend breaks up with you, she empties your bank account. Your broke, you can free run. . .YOU ROB A BANK NIGGA!

  • @chenpod123 We teach police parkour

  • @DaUrbanMunky In what country?

  • @Shaadeedaa America, my friends from Miami Freerunning (founders of Parkulture) taught the Miami-Dade police department.

  • LOL...He doesn't get a word she's saying... 9:23

  • Thats not flying.....Thats falling with style!!!!! XD

  • @TheDumbCoconut hahaha that made my fucking day!! x'D good old memories~~

  • bad ass

  • that lady is an idiot

  • Fuck them, they ain't modern day ninjas, Masaaki Hatsumi is a modern day ninja!!!!

  • 0:45 that ninja dude i think had a hard time leaping on walls. but look at daniel. he spins like nobody's business.

  • translate to spanish please!!

  • assassins

  • awesome..

  • Ryan Doyle looks like Tosh off of Tosh.o

  • & 7 people fail very bad.

  • 3:39 DANIEL YAWNING HAHAHAHA and quickly stopping it after realizing the camera is fliming him

  • 7 people dislike ninjas? O___o

  • very good

  • Ok the one story jump he has to roll? i was eight when I jumped one story and I was FINE! Lol

  • @CetwinBrothers In Parkour we roll, it's good form and stops injury down the line. As you get older, your body bounces back from shit less, something you will know after the age of 12.

  • @danfrost313 I DO parkour and still dont have to roll after a one story fall.

  • @CetwinBrothers Oh man... Did you read what danfrost313 wrote? It's not always about just not getting injured, it keeps the momentum and injures less the body (talking about months or years). If you don't hurt after a 3 m drop, it doesn't mean your joints aren't strained.

  • @CetwinBrothers You're a bad practioiner of parkour then. Simple as.

  • @danfrost313 Then youre a douche bag. Simple As!

  • @CetwinBrothers You are really weak at everything in life, aren't you? Lame 'insult', lame parkour skill, and lame knowledge. I'm very sure you don't even do Parkour, I've a feeling you just stand on a rail with your 'best mate' who is called something shit like Graham and exclaim "Oh look, we are doing Parkour now" >_>

  • @CetwinBrothers *Practitioner

  • @CetwinBrothers

    Lol..

Rolls make the movements have more fluidity after a jump..

    It also prevents injury..

It may not hurt now..But wait till your in your late 30's or 40's

  • Based on technique, yes if "ordinary" humans don't practice and learn these techniques they could get injured, but in terms of physical capablities, the "ordinary human body" is way able to train to such an extent.

  • Considering what danny and ryan can do, these tests were not at all representative

  • @amarmirza08 So true :)

  • these guys are incredible....how the fuck can there be dislikes on this video..this is the next best thing to human evolution

  • so if its possible to distribute kenitic energy like that, then maybe its possible to throw kentic energy from your hands! :O

  • i like the way the guy says it could maim or kill 'ordinary' humans, XD and danny and phil stand there looking badass X)

  • cant find this on hulu or itunes, where can i get this?

  • @SIXCHA you can try ebay, not sure if they have it on there though.

  • you can tell they were just having fun with it all, a front flip to a roll, and side flipping off the plateform just to prove that in reality that height wont hurt you lol

  • this footage is the exact reason i started freerunning...

  • the comparison at 0:48 is so ridiculous^^

  • So that means he can easily do 20 feet. Because if you think about it, his hand hit the bar behind it and a little bit above it. so about 20' or 20' 2".

  • @Some1cracker1 You probably just injured and bruised yourself. Sometimes people get lucky. there's no accounting for random chance, but the break value in this video is correct for a human limb. You should thank whatever deity you worship (if any) that you got lucky. Broken legs hurt, a lot!

  • @Some1cracker1 That's a break value for a straight leg that doesn't bend and flex and absorb the power properly at impact.

  • i never realized how much this show exaggerates until this because i know so much about parkour

  • @DFaz3 i know rite? 9 feet wnt break a leg cause daniel sideflipped off and didnt roll

  • wow !!!

  • i sw this episode yesterday i love it

  • Somebody tell me Where I can find all chapters to download?

  • In reality parkour was inspired by natives who were jumping around in a jungle catching their pray, and they were examined by a french man named Herbert, and i forget the last name, who studied the human body. From them he learned about movement and brought this new perspective back to france. David Belle who was also inspired by his father used Herberts idea of this new theory of movement, which herbert narrowed it down to swiming jumping climbing etc.

  • @stichguy Georges Herbert?

  • can you film the episode FIGHT LIKE AN ANIMAL plz do im desperate to see that episode and what channel plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • Ryan - Did you even touch your feet to the ground??:P

  • To be honest, I'd rather have the ability to run from a fight than tempt fate's punch in the nuts. Martial artists gotta catch you before they can punch you.

  • @JunkerJames And if a fight, situation implies your friends, girlfriend and /or family would you still run away or stand and fight to protect them?

  • @UnknownFromHeaven Argument is irrelevant: they all know parkour, too!

  • @JunkerJames it was no argument, it was a question, and its not only about you, your friends, girlfriend or family not everyone get learn free runing urban ninja style...but martial arts anyone can learn!

    i wish you well!

  • @JunkerJames but ninjas, can use "ninjutsu" they can catch you 10x faster than you think, taekwondo make your entire feet stronger, so they will be faster than you think, tai chi can also be use while the victim is running without touching them, and if its not your day, you might get tripped on something and fall and then you'll get caught, and then your dead

  • @chriZtian001 It's not only speed. It's technique too. you don't run on flat ground straight. You do it over obstacles. That kinda reduces the possible "can catch a traceur" list.

  • @JunkerJames yea but you cant allways run away. Eventualy youve got to be prepared to stand and fight

  • @JunkerJames Look up Wudang masters and take a look some would probally be right near you maybe perhaps levitating near by lol..

  • ryan looks like tosh.o!!

  • One of these should be Ezio in Assassin's Creed 3 lol.

  • @SalsaSalling Ezio isnt in Assassins creed3 the brotherhood its a different character as in the first one its supposed to be years later

  • "What's crazy is he's basically [explains what Daniel is going to do]."

  • "stealth FIGHTERS"? where have u seen any traceur/freerunner fighting?

  • "So you put alot of physics in to this?!"

  • I really wish people would get it straight between parkour and freerunning, there's a very distinct difference.

  • @amjack11 i wish people like you would quite whining about it.. its movement.. who gives a fuck

  • @amjack11 I agree with 23drummerboy23. Don't get all upset about it. There isn't very much difference. Parkour is the art of movement, it's about getting from point A to point B in the fastest, most efficient way. Freerunning is tricking while doing parkour. Parkour is the backbone or base of Freerunning, doing flips and tricks are just added.

  • Nice One Urban Ninja Master Chris

  • Man these people are too amazed like he lands and theyre like WhOOOAAOOAO thats so crazy WHooawww you guys are so crazy how do you do that. And the dummy 2:03 who would jump on their face cmon make his legs hit the ground first at least. Well cool vid

  • oh gosh ryan is sooo cute *^_^*

but the testers are soooo retarded...I mean that lady couldve have checked the lasnding results on the computer AFTER she saw ryan landing with her own eyes...

and they just retarded in general...

  • hah! danny yawning in the background.

  • LMAO he dropped the dummy head first, he should have dropped him so that he would land in his legs like a normal person, so we would see the impact without a roll

  • *giga becomes ninja* XD roflolmaomg!!!

  • "Wow, Im not sure I should believe this"

    Danny: *YAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWNNNNN*

  • i fucking hate the testers on this show. so much so that i've taken to watching it without sound.

  • soo are you like his brother cuz christ illabaca?

  • nice

  • I used to practice for 3 years, but drop it after I broke my right leg and knock out two of my teeth with my own knee. But oh god, how I miss this.

  • awesome dani you are the best loving every single video of you keep uploading!!!:D

  • freerunning for the win. WOOT!!!

  • that was a beautiful flip perfectly preformed and a great roll too

it is all about the roll to get read of the pressure

  • Parkour has to be one of the best sports i have ever done. makes you feel alive..

and it gives you challenges. :P

  • Did anyone else catch that wallclimb at 0:49??

  • Hey guys does anyone know a link or anything to watch the whole episode ?

  • Hey Daniel ilabaca what kind of shoes are you using :) and what kind of shoes would you recommend im still in my first year of parkour/freerunning :)

  • @Luv10v3 they look like kalenji success, but not too sure

  • @Luv10v3 put on a pair of running shoes that feels comfortable. Then go out and train like you never trained before.

  • That is absolutely astonishing. The amount of energy needed for each foot goes up exponentially and there is no roll for cat leaps. What I mean is there comes a time where even if you can make the jump the impact looks as though it will snap your ankle.

I'll stick to my meager 10-11 ft cat leaps and let you do the amazing stuff.

  • yea flight

  • Daniel which one of you 2 are the best you think? Ryan or you? :/ (my vote goes for you inanyway)

  • ahahahha at 0:49 daniel is 1000000 times better than the ninja XDXD

  • Is there an episode for all the other stuff like the Shaolin stuff and the Capoeira on this video??

  • SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! modern day ninjas!!

  • Excellently, I love slow motion

  • Wow! soo good, would love for you too see some of my videos

  • I love this show~ You get to see athletic people and their motions being broken down into ways you'd never see anywhere else! Funny to see James Lew still on screen... I just saw Best of the Best last night!

  • I have to admit that tho I am not a person that is involved in this sport myself it is a beutiful sport to watch. Like a good martial artist or dancer...simply the best in every way!!!

  • "If your being persued, then that the way to get out of there"-i really like that!

    I'm a ninja!!!

  • i wan to do parkour so bad!!!

  • "His landing technique REQUIRES him to take a flying leap off the platform and do a complete flip" . . . They do seem to get things just a little wrong at times!

  • @AnnanFay they were referring to the fact of the flip propelling his body more forwards, getting the momentum into the roll as well as the fact that the flip gets more air resistance then just a jump, especially a front pike. :)

  • @EdgeParkour AFAIK a flip won't propel, the center of mass will be the same, hence he would have landed at the same place regardless. I'm curios how much difference air resistance makes? IMO they did a flip to look cool and for no other reason.

  • @AnnanFay the flip can slightly over rotate someone to allow better access for the roll. scientists have actually done studies on it

  • @EdgeParkour Yes, a flip causes rotation. However imho it should be possible to cause that extra rotation without needing to do a full flip. I've been looking for information on airial movement, so I'd be very interested if you could link to the study you're talking about.
