We sang this for our final concert in 1996. It was so difficult for us seniors not to cry. And we sang it in Mont le Salle too, so beautiful! I love it!
I was so happy that they let us move and stand where we wanted for this song. I stood with my "big brother" and balled my eyes out for half the song. I had just switched to Alto half way through that year. So occasionally, I found that I slipped back into soprano parts because it was what I had been singing for 2 years prior.
