  • The work dates from 1795-8, predating the symphonies. It nicely shows off B's cellular compositional style.

  • What a perfectly giusto tempo

  • You people have a mistake in the head..

  • Since you're listening that fanaticly: at 2:50 one more tiny little mistake and at the end of 5:20 almost 5:21 another little slip of the finger at the accentuated tone ;-)

And of course he's playing Music with capital!

  • I think, mistake is exist at 0:14,

but a little bit mistake does not make matter.

  • I heard this, but I could not find mistakes on this.

  • I never get tired of hearing these awesome performances!

  • Great! Love it! a masterpiece of composing and, also, of playing...

  • This is why Cziffra is so great... his Schumann is amazing too!

  • i love cziffra!!!!!! *.*

  • Damn, he almost had a full combo. I hope he's happy with just a Rank SS.

  • @PuresMusic

Czifftra doesn't make any mistakes at 0:14.

It is only because of the poor quality of the transfer .

  • @The55555SSSSS it is a mistake.

  • @PuresMusic

What? There is no mistakes in ithe entire piece.

    Remember who is playing it

  • @The55555SSSSS There is a mistake at 0:14, f instead of f# in one chord, but honestly, it would be wrong to look for these mistakes in his performences... who cares? Cziffra is a legend, his playing was outstanding. Right now, I cannot think of any better version of this piece. Many other pianists play this faster, but less precise. Thumbs up and knees down for this great man!

  • wow so clean!

i expected him to play this piece in another way ...

  • I can't imagine myself playing this by the end of the year:/ wayyy too hardd:)

  • so great pianist, just love beethoven, is really difficult to play beethoven very well .-.'

  • It's not weird, but that's a mistake, hahah xD!!!

Beautiful playing but I can't stop thinking on Kissin playing this awesome piece...=P!!

  • Why doesn't he ever use a proper stool? Every time I've seen him he's on a chair (seen on the internet, not in person)

  • it's an exhausting piece to play.. you gotta lean back sometimes to relax ;)

  • ha :P can't complain with that

  • @stevey226 probably because he like it that way. Have you ever seenthe thing that Gould called a "stool"? It looked like it was pulled out of a whales anus and burned after that but it was just the way he wanted to sit.

  • @LazyBastard69 Haha just looked on google, :P That really cheered me up

  • Ça change des jeunes gens qui se prennent pour des prodiges parce qu'ils le jouent trop vite... Cziffra, vrai pianiste !

  • c'est qui les jeunes gens ?

  • Playful but a little mechanical. Good overall.

  • is it the bass note?

  • Once read this is an early piece by Beethoven. Perhaps suggesting it's an easy piece to play. lol.

  • Not necessarily.

  • this is op 129, one of Beethoven's last few pieces.

  • One of his last published pieces. He wrote it probably around 20 years before his death.

  • I love this piece of music, An ABSOLUTE FAVORITE. A TRUE G

  • igen G az a dúr...csatlakozom...én is most tanulom :P

  • Ebben is jó a Cziffra nem csak Liszt-ben :-)

  • Ezt a darabot most tanulom :) igen, G-dúr :D
