  • I HATE THE OLD BODIES! IN MY OPINION THEY R RETARDED!

  • ive had my nitro stampede for 9 years and now i changed it to a 3.3 check it out at cronsformula350

  • how did you get your speed control mounted because when i got my sidewinder it didn't come with a speed control mount.

  • Hey man, where did you get that front bumper.

  • nice contribute.

going on 3 years ive had my stampede and it works like new.

  • dirt/grass

  • do the rustler tire work better??

  • for what surface?

  • Is the sidewinder system a good system?

  • Nope, i hated mine. Glad i ruined it and got the mamba max. Get the mamba system for sure. I ruined the motor first and then got the vxl but the whole year that i had that esc it was nothing but trouble. It was just not smooth and i thought it was my batteries so i got lipo and it didnt help, it just took off randomly a lot. But the mamba max is way better anyway.

  • wat kind of shoks r those?

  • stock

  • nice i wish i could show you guys my stampede i have been working on but i dont know how to make youtube videos -_- and i need a digital camera.

  • that is ugly

  • lol thanks. I got a new body for it, this was an old one.

  • how do you like that duratrax battery??

  • It is very nice. It was good the first couple weeks i had it and i love it. It has great power for a 6 cell side by side. Definately worth it. It is still running strong and it has been about 3 months now.

  • which is better the duratrax 6 cell or the ener-g 6 cell. I have a brushless rustler and i want to get a 7 cell battery but i don't know what brand to get. i was thinking about getting the intellect 4600 one. And do you know if the trinity 7 cell battery's are any good? Cheers

  • the duratrax is ok but ener-g cells from SPC racing are way better.

  • yeah i just purchased one from towerhobbies. The 6 cell race one and i have to make it up. It cost $75 but it will be worth it. Thanks for the advice man

  • Well, Iv'e heard of these no-solder deans but I can't find them for now. But thanks for the info!

  • why cant u solder deans? they make pre-made pigtails.

  • Sweet pede dude. The blue a-arms and front bumper look sweet. Anyway, do you have to install deans on your battery pack for the Sidewinder ESC to work with the pack?

    Please reply ASAP.

    John

  • well, the sidewinder esc or any castle esc does not come with connectors. It is a good idea to install deans because they are very low resistance. Yes i had to install deans on my batteries and charger and esc. But you could make an adapter to whatever type plugs you are using, but i would stay away of the standard tamiya plugs because my friends melted and touched the wires and ruined his esc. So just be safe and solder on the deans.

  • nice pede! nice work with the gt2 rx box, NICE radio! 5/5

  • thank you. In the end it is worth it, but when im making things it is like oh fuck this sux and i shouldnt have done that lol. But now i look back on things and think yea it sucked making it, but it worked out how i wanted so thats good.

  • yeah i know what u mean, i have 8 rc's to keep working on and on and on lol, but i bash the hell out of them usually, so its like there never done, not when im jumping 20ft high and snapping chassis! hahahah :D

  • lol yea i have 7 hobby grade trucks. I am looking at getting a blade cx2 helicopter though. It is something i always loved but i havent gotten the chance to buy one yet. I am getting another truck this summer also, i dont know to get gas or not??

  • idk, gas? like a hpi baja 5b? or nitro? do u have any nitros now?

  • oops sorry. i meant nitro. No i dont have a nitro now.

  • have u ever had one? i have 2, after alot of practice tuning them is not very hard, now that theres brushless and lipo, nitro isnt the same to me anymore, my 2s lipo mamba max 5700 rc10t4 is waayy faster than then my nitro's, and with a 8000hv 2s it gets about 45 min runtime, i dont really see an advantage for nitro over bl/lipo, EXCEPT my lipo battery and charger cost the same as a brand new rc10gt2, more than a nitro rustler or sport, so idk. both good.

  • Well i see it like this, you pay a lot to get your electric truck going very fast and durable. but on the other hand you could pay way less and have a nitro truck that is durable and has semi good speed, plus it sounds cool and all that stuff. But with electric you can drive at night (my brother and i doo lots of night bashes in our yards) without waking the neighbors. But no i have never had nitro before, the only thing i have driven/been around is my friends (stasoccerkid) gt2.

  • But my pede is faster than his gt2 if we would race. that is top speed. But not with my 6 cell, once i get my ener-g batteries it will be doing about 50. My brother's rustler does 57 with them lol, check out my other vids (im sure you have already)

  • oh, yeah u already know how it goes then, yeah nitro is sweet with the exhaust, fuel, that smell, i love it! one thing i seen is my gt2 is a way better built and designed truck than my (so far) p.o.s mt2 g3.0, ive tuned on it for hours and hours, and even payed the hobbyshop $15 to tune it, they ended up not even charging me cuz it was as good as it gets. idk whats wrong with it, hpi geared it way to high from the factory i think, has hardly any take off then suddenly it gets up to about 50mph.

  • lol thats weird i have never heard of that bad of things about the g3.0. I have read forums and most everyone says that it is a great motor. Well i guess everyone cant have a good one lol good luck.

  • This is my current racing setup. I might make another like this one with my bashing tires and stuff on.

  • sweet vid nice pede u have a lot of the same stuff as me lol. kool sidewinder i love my sidewinder esc. what rx box is that? thats the waterproof e-maxx box isnt it? ive been thinking about getting one of those. *****

  • No it isnt the e maxx one. It is the one from a rc10gt2 by associated. It takes some chopping to get it to fit but I didnt want to chance wrecking my new receiver that costs 85 bucks.

  • ohh, ive been thinking of getting something like that for my rusty, i only have a futaba 2pl fm not as fancy as urs but still worth getting something to protect it lol.

  • yea i am always tinkering with my truck to make thigs run smoother and I would hate to have my stuff break when i can prevent it. But with an antenna that is about as long as from your thumb to the tip of your pinkey, it wont even make it to the stock position lol.
