I've read the Night Angel Trilogy and The Black Prism and in my humble opinion Brent Weeks is an amazing writer with a unique style.
I read the Black Prism first (btw I'm a yellow for those that have visited Brents web site ;-) ) and was impressed how different the Night Angel Trilogy was while still retaining Brent's own style.
@TotallySD I don't think you could make movie/series off The Night Angel trilogy if it had to be child-friendly. For instance, how could you describe Azoth Doll Girl and Jarl if it had to be soft around the edges. So I completely agree.
@NorseWinter Also, slightly erotic undertones are spreak througout the books & the characters have encounters with "ladies of the night" on multiple occasions, which is great and what really gives the story more backbone. I'd be pissed if the movie was anything less then PG 16+
