I was born in 1930, none of my parents had it, my parents talk about this a lot. My mother lost her brother and my father lost his brother from it.

My parents told the when the Servicemen came home from WW1 is when it started.

I'm glad you got an eye witness account of this flu pandemic. It's a rarity indeed. Both of my great grandparents died of this flu in 1918. Such a tragedy.
