@1ihatepokemon1 There is a difference between mistakes and correcting oversteer. Due to having an oversteering Renault, Alonso would need to correct the back end when it steps out at some corners, he was not making mistakes, he was correcting the rear end which steps out as a result of the car setup.

But it's not like it always steps out in corners. He's pushing too hard, so you get oversteer. Of course this car is not the best, but you can avoid oversteer, and Alonso doesn't do that.

that big fat nose of renault car makes very unstable on airflow of the car,and therefore affects alonso's driving style,but neverthless,it was a nice lap

Yeah that's why I hate American Car magazines like Road & Track they claim that Renault made the nose big like that to increase stability...

BTW I believe they had to come up with the current nose for the R29 on short notice because they failed their crash tests with the original search the net you can find renders of it. It's just like the R28 one except longer with 2009 wing.

Something wrong with the speedo for sure, look at it on entry into the second last corner, he's flat in 5th and the speeds plummeting lol?

I think it's actually the sound that makes the footage deceiving. I have noticed that the sound is usually behind about a second during live coverage of onboard shots. I am not sure if the video feed is also behind slightly too, either way there is a delay and would explain the speedo appearing to be off.
