I totally respect and love countries such as Scotland, Ireland, Wales, etc. because over the centuries they have never lost their national identity. I'm a Croat btw, and you cannot imagine what shit we have passed through, like Scots. For hundreds of years we fought against Austrians, Germans, Hungarians, Ottomans, Italians, ...everybody! It's quite pretty, even beautiful, in parts, the whisky is wonderful out on the islands, and the food is great (haggis, Arbroath smokeys, etc).
