Well, horses have a way of controlling their feet and miraculously managing not to step on the people they've run down. It's amazing.

The only time I've experienced the contrary was falling off while galloping bareback as a child, together with my sister, and the horse stepping on my sister's head (HELMETS <3). But that's a completely different context. In a situation like that, horses are just great :D
