Kris sang when he was obviously sick the night before, he had been very sick for three straight days, and appears to have been sick for atleast a week. Kris had doctor's orders not to sing. You can tell he wanted to by his disappointment. My guess is that they waited till intermission hoping Kris would get better, Kris had the guts to face the crowd and still make an appearance, then probably went straight to rest. Kris got it the worst and everyone has a stopping point. Kris is a trooper.

I'm an Adam fan and I don't particularly like Kris, but that take courage and class to stand in front of hundreds of fans and personally tell them that you are unable to perform.

My respect for this guy just shot up! Kudos to you, Kris!

The Adam and Matt fans must have been really glad they came out and did their best, even though he had the same thing. I know I'm a fan of Adam's and was proud of him for giving it his all.

@conservet1 Ok I don`t know if that`s what you meant, but to me what you said sound like you said that even though Adam and Matt was sick like Kris, they still performed, so Adam is better than Kris, because of that.

But as Kris said himself, the reason he didn`t perform was because the doctors said he couldn`t, so Adam and Matt must have been feeling better, since the doctors didn`t say anything to them.

Anyway, I missed Kris in that show.

I was there. I mean I felt bad they were sick but Matt was clearly sick but he came out and did amazing! I thought Kris should have came out when intermission was over, seeing that like 1/4 of the arena wasn't back yet. I mean I thought he was gonna come back at least for the group preformance finale and just like play guitar or something lol. Oh well. It was a really amazing show. Nick Mitchel/Norman Gentle was there too :]

I think it was because the signed idols has to record their albums too so they can't afford to strain their voices. Kris was visibly more sick the previous show too. Poor guy couldn't even walk properly. Glad you enjoyed!

There's no reason to bring up Adam. I'd feel the same about Adam if he came out with a normal voice, acting normal, and said he wasn't going to sing because he was "a little under the weather".

I do have a heart.. I hope he gets well soon. I'm being honest. He should be sicker than that or have larengitis to not sing or choose to rest his voice. Being "a little under the weather" without laringitis is not good enough, imho.

It was on doctors orders. they dont just allow anyone to take a leave when they wish. Just watch the videos from the day before- Wilkes Barre. The guy almost fell off while performing still he continued the show and went out for signings afterwards unlike others;) And he is performing again tonight despite low bp. Atleast look for better reasons to hate on him...

Yes, normally other people make that kind of announcement beside the singer himself, and there's a good reason for that. (The only other time I recall a singer making that kind of announcement themself was Loretta Lynn and she passed out on stage seconds after making the announcement.)

Dude he isn't on deathbed or anything. Its a single concert out of the many in which he happened to have a cold and fever so instead of ruining his voice for the remaing concerts, he was asked to rest his voice for a day. He is the same guy who hasnt missed more than one or two after/pre show signings till date. Get a heart man!

WHoever you are complaining about Kris' apology , youare inhuman! He needs not even come out to do that. Normally, they will just announce it. But he respects the audience and did it himself, which i know was his own decision. Secondly, going out to sign the previous nite should not be used as a spite against him. Oh and just for the record, the other night he came out and signed autographs in the cold windy weather after the show, even though he literally nearly fell over while he was performing because he was so weak and feverish. So please, none of this "it's not much of an apology". He cares, he was just VERY VERY sick and needing to rest and probably didn't have the energy to be all nicey nice about it

If so, your language is particularly appalling, especially given the number of young fans that Kris has that access Youtube and would have seen your off base remarks.
