  • I know a guy who earns something. There are more such guys at pokertablerating/com. How about such plot that all our money in the end goes to Pokerrooms. I would construct such a system that step by step would direct the game to tables with avatars that would always recieve better cards. Sure I would need some famouse players to show the World: Look they can!! I would mark them in my system as "friendly", all the rest sooner or later must die :)

  • Can you rename this video, it's currently called "Expert Insight" and it needs to be renamed "If you didn't already know this please hit yourself in the face with a frying pan insight"

  • to beat online poker u either have to have talent or u have to be patient

  • Actually AT IS a strong hand. Equity of this hand is HIGH. And of course AK is a stronger than AT. Who dont know this???

  • @fromnsk the point is that when you're up against a bigger 'equity' hand, u lose 2,3 of those hands, then you're crippled. all it takes is one moment, one hand. equity means nothing, ur still beat

  • New accounts at Full Tilt Poker that use the Referral Code: FTUS600 will get a 600$ sign up bonus

  • devilll hat true, onlinee is rigged to hell................ put ur expert tippssss in ur azzzzzzz faaakkkkin comercialll shittttttttttttttttt

  • basics, not expert...

  • YOU HAVE LEARN ME SOMETHING HAHA STOP KIDDING WITH UR SHIT SOMEONE BUY FOR THIS S HIT DVD 15DOLLAR BUY FU CKER HAHAHAHAHA

  • Then you have 30% chance , how about the other individual ? If he's bluffing its not right that he has 70% ? it doesn't always have to go up to 100% is it?

  • Hey if u have a king heart (K) and a queen heart (Q). And the floop is just a heart three (3) , leaf queen (Q) and a spade (5). Now in your 4 x 2 rule. You count the outs , whici are 3 kings , and 2 queens. 5 x 4. = 20. Is it 20% that i will win or what does that tell me? What is the chance that a heart will come up , isn't it a 1/4 ? 25%? and then if you get a heart comes up you count the hearts that are missing ( 10 hearts and + the 5 pots ) 15x2 = 30% ?

  • Very impressive video . The presentation for explaining poker tip is very good.

    Thanks for uploading this video.

  • @bratlue

    You find this video impressive?

  • why is he yelling? im sacared

  • scared*

  • Go all in all the time with Ace/Ten. In the long run you will come out ahead.

  • lol well its not like u know that he has a higher kicker so.. and with all those noobs raising with almost nothing ...

  • if im holding A9 or lower and there is a preflop rase i fold everytime. (except if its suited) then i might make a minimum exception.

  • @morleyrox yeah i do depending on how on the table and the players.. but yes ace-9 off suit sucks unless u flop 2 pair then u still have to be carefull..

  • @alakazambitch

    exactly

  • they changed your opponents hand at 0:40

  • no shit that's the point of what he is talking about, what your opponent could have...

  • best way to beat online poker is by closing your account, trust me , i know.

now im playing live im a profitable player by far.

played online for 4/5 years and got screwed everytime.

  • its sure is m8..... i play online for like 3 years now.....andialways got screwed sideways... in live tournament or cash games people dontplay like online A+ comment :)

  • @thedevil147 sorry man i fell bad for you... i started to play a cople years ago.. its like a droge hay!!!

  • @thedevil147 Thank you...im so glad to see that so many ppl agree w u.

  • @thedevil147 Looser :D

  • @thedevil147 in other words your not a very good online player

  • He is right on a 9 players table A10 can be dominated often, but on a 6 handed table, A10 is a strong hand

  • ATo is not a strong hand UTG or MP in 6 handed poker-no worse ace ever calls. I would not open it UTG in today's games where you are 3-bet a lot; I'd probably pass in MP in a game with a fair amount of 3-betting.

  • cool get stds!

  • this video makes the assumption that a players pre-flop raise indicates hand strength, but that's not always the case.

  • look at it like this. Poker boils down to a math game at it's base level. 85% of people who graduated high school did so with less than a 65% average in basic math skills. And this is when they GRADUATED so skills are gonna deteriorate without use. That's your main reason for so many fucking donkey players. They're just idiots. It's not even their fault really, they just don't understand what they're doing.

  • i was watching a premier poker league video, and some chick thought she had DECENT odds in the hands preflop (she said, "oh, my hand has decent odds") she was somehow chipleader and let this guy quadruple up

    Girl=10 8 diamonds

    Guy= p10

    Girl=ace 9 off suit

    Guy= pJacks

i was laughing so hard. she lost both btw

  • It's also people like me. I have good maths skills, I'm nearly fifty and I don't gamble.

However, I associate poker with Western movies, As a child I had no idea of the rules of this fascinating game, only that in any film when tempers flared and a fight could start it was invariably at a poker table.

Poker can also be a romantic idea, like roulette in a Bond film,. Novice players can also win on the 'luck'side of poker and God knows we all need Lady Luck occasionally!

  • how do you calculate the % of how much you gonna win?

like on TV they always show that taht hand has a 30% change to win

  • I think that is all done by computer

  • That's right neve SykcuL. AT kicker isn't terrible. The best thing you can do is try to read your opponent.

Heck, only 42% of flops give you a pair or better, and most single pairs you flop are not top pair. "Avoiding domination" is a absurd euphemism for telling people to play nothing except AA.

  • "Only 42% of flops gives you a pair or better"? Is that true?

  • 32% of flops hit a pair I think.

  • thas not what hes saying hes saying if you play you will win only 75$ some of the time or lose 500$ the others?!?!?!?!

  • If You dont know this already you should not be playing poker

  • @treybano yeah mate because everyone knows everything about poker from the get go

  • @treybano well....if you dont play A 10, you are a pussy and you never gonna be a good player...

if you have A 10, they are only a few hands that are where over you....only sets of A,K,Q, and everything with the ace....now it depends on how much you've got, what is the style of your opponent....

the explanation above is NOT a good tip, sorry

  • @dimit0 WOW you're stupid..."if you dont play A 10, you are a pussy"...I don't think ur a winning player.

  • @wargunnerguy watch hight stakes poker...see if they fold that kind of cards....the more you're in, the more you get

  • @dimit0 you added more factors to the hand then necessary making your reason its not a good tip being that you make a more player orientated decision? I think this is a very good tip considering he's explaining the percentage of winning with your cards versus the opponents, not explaining the way you should play against your opponent. that's up to you.

  • @treybano

Well that's why I'm trying to learn this stuff.. :-P

Everyone is a n00b at some point..

  • @treybano everyone has to start somwhere

  • @treybano well you have to start somewhere

  • @treybano Pretty basic once you play a lot. The newbies don't know any better.

  • @treybano Why are you on the video so, jackass?

  • @treybano depsite this there are so many donks out there who overplay A-10o and A-Jo from EP in live games. In my opinion there is a lot more discipline in a .25/.50 online game than a 1-2 live game

  • @basstripper1983 as they say .10/.25 online poker is about the same level as a 1/2 casino game poker, anything higher and your surpassing that level.

  • Yeah that is good advice..So many weak players over-value A-rag. It is not a strong hand at all.

  • it can be if you hit two pair

  • you just said it yourself if. Poker is being is about being patient and waiting for good hands. You got A 8 ur opponent has A J you bet big. Flop comes out A J 8. Your beat unless u luck up and hit another 8. Its happened to me before. Trust me you'll save alot of money by reconizing when ur beat. I've seen a guy lay down a full house cause he thought he was beat. And he was right!

  • ofcourse, but how often does one flop top two pair? You have to know how to read the game aswell. Siting there and waiting for premium hands and betting big when the draw hits will get you nowhere, because players know when the draw hits and you bet/call that you've got it. Your game needs to be mixed up with some calculated bluffs, and usually that means losing.

  • You're correct here - I've seen a guy lay down JJ with AKJTT on the board - the other guy had KK.

I've also seen a guy lay down the nut straight on the flop just because their was a flush draw out there. 234, he had 56. i had J8 spades, i hit the 5 of spades next card out, the other 2 had aces and put me all in. Two wheels vs a flush, and when the other guy showed me his 56, I had nothing but respect for him.

  • If he lay down the nut straight beacuase of a potential flush he is a total fish how can you respect him?? What an idiot lmao

  • he laid it down on the turn, after i'd HIT my flush. sorry you must have misread that.

  • I had a guy put me on a better full house than him and lay it down. I told him, "any player that can lay that down, I'm man enough to show him he was beat." We've been friends ever since.

  • Thats cool, i had quad 2's before and this guy had kings full and he got mad at me cause i called his all in.

  • thats because after he read your tell, you proved his instincts, now he wants to be your buddy and pwn you 'till you smarten up.

  • ITs good advice but if you know you are playing people who over value A-rag then

would A-10 be a strong hand.

Sure they could have AJ AQ or AK but what about all the times they have

    A9 A8 A7 or worse.

  • fuck u phil gordon ur confusion ur watchers more then anything

  • ya, never fold top pair! this guy is crazy!

  • He never said to fold a top pair, but to fold a High card with a weak kicker against an agressive pre-flop bet... Get a clue before you comment would you?

  • yes and hes right. doyle brunson says exactly that in his book. win small or lose big

  • what is the percent to losse 5 consecutive all ins with A top kiker against A small kiker, play on Full Tilt and the odds are reverse! This odds are available in real life, not on online poker, especialy against the big stack of the table!

  • how bout having trip nines and losing to ace-10 by runner runner aces all in post flop

  • Wat? So you have 999AA and he has AAAXx??

    Who wins that hand?

  • no, i got 7-9, flop comes 699. guy with A10 goes all in with no draw and turn comes A and river comes A. .24% chance of that happening!

  • jaxy

i think its like less then 1% he'll hit AA

  • that's why i said .24%!

  • professionals don't want to give away there good strategies so they give average guys basic tips. this is just another lame poker video on youtube. thanks captain obvious for all of you intriguing secrets.

  • It was brief, but what Phil was trying to get across is that if someone, especially a tight player, pushes big pre-flop and you hold a hand like A-8/9/T/J, then sometimes the best move you can make is to fold your hand. It's a mistake that tons of players make since they see an ace and a below-premium card and instinctively calls massive bets with it. In essence, you have more chance of winning an all-in with 2-7 than with A-T if you feel the opponents has a better Ace-kicker than you.

  • ok agree

but isnt that what bluffing is about?

if I have an A-T he goes in big pre-flop I mean he could be bluffing ya never know

    what do you think?

    thanks

  • It's totally up to the player to deduce whether he is bluffing or not. A player who makes a lot of big moves and is no stranger to throwing lots of chips into the pot is probably more likely to be bluffing than someone who is very tight and conservative with their money. If a very loose player goes all in pre-flop and you look at A-T, then it is probably correct to call, but you should also bear in mind that you MAY be massively behind in the hand if he has AK, AQ, etc.

  • pre flop bluffing is non sense

    bluffing takes place post flop

  • o.k

  • I used to believe that AK or AQ was a lot stronger than AT or lower kicker.

But then I started to lose my AK to the low kicker AT or lower . Microgaming is the network u want to avoid.

  • what does AT mean?

  • ace ten A-10

  • AT is ace and Tall. and new card in poker. Its J Q K A T, when you have T, u are automatic winner

  • i hate cocky people like hawkfish

  • what about bluffing

  • they mean you should fold when your opponent raises you

  • haha u suck

whats ur nickname on pokerstars if i may ask lmao

  • so your the type of idiot that calls a big reraise with a shitty hand like A 10. You suck.

  • nope, im the kinda guy that fkcs your mind and takes all your cash ( :

  • you wouldnt even have enough money to play the stakes i play, and im sure i wouldnt even have to look at my hand to beat you out of every pot

  • awesome tip

  • Your information is helpful, but your poker tips are turining a lot of poker players into rocks!

  • lol wtf?

  • MSN's bicycle Texas Holdem's better because players can't reload at anytime and it's always a tournament. But on full-tilt you can play for real money.

  • or the opponent has k q and hits the gutter or mid pair

  • The problem is determining whether your hand is dominated or not. I can play with A 10, and someone can have A 9. I might suspect that he has an Ace but unsure on the kicker.

  • great tip - amateurs lose so many chips in home games b/c they get dominated.

  • Thanks for the vid
